As soon as Penny agreed to take Chaaalie and go with Desmond to L.A. my first thought was "they end up on the plane with the O6+ Ben and Locke back to the
island". Next week looks amazing!

It seems Daniel himself is the cause and effect of why Charles Widmore left the island, became rich and funded the research of Daniel's future self. I suspect the reason why he became so rich is that he had knowledge of future events and used it to his advantage investment-wise. As for Eloise/Elle, Daniel did say she looked familiar but maybe he didn't see that many photographs of his mother during her younger years because she spent them on the island as an Other, and the reason she left was similiar to that of Widmore, only to pursue the quantum physics aspect of the whole thing. Great stuff this season! |

Let's say Desmond does get back to the island along with the Oceanic 6. let's also say that somehow Penny and their baby, Charlie, go with him to the island. Later on Desmond and Penny die and become Adam & Eve from season 1, and young Charlie grows up to be his own grandfather, Charles Widmore. |

I may have forgotten some detail, but why do some people get nosebleed sickness (Charlotte, the freighter guy) while some don't? Doesn't Charlotte need
a constant? Doesn't Dan know this?

But Charlotte hasn't shown signs of her consciousness jumping around--it's been her physical body. I'm not exactly sure if what Charlotte is
experiencing is the same thing that Desmond experienced.
Also, I'm not sure why people think that Desmond and Penny's son Charlie could be Charles Widmore. Desmond and Penny aren't time jumping and we don't even know if they go back in time yet. As far as them being Adam and Eve, that would be a copout because TPTB have said they had the identity of Adam and Eve planned from the beginning. Desmond wasn't even thought of at the beginning! BTW, I was thinking at first that Ellie could be Daniel's daughter but her being his mother makes more sense. So, if that were true, Penny and Daniel would be brother and sister. |

If anyone has posted this, sorry. But could Widmore and Ellie/Eloise/whoever Ben met with in Cali, be in the same boat as the O6? They were on the island at
one time and are now desperately trying to get back, only it is taking them a lot longer?

He also tried to recruit him to a science camp (or something like that) in high school. Richard said that started grooming leaders at an early age. I think he was trying to bring Locke to the island to prepare him as a leader for a long time. But Locke wasn't meant to come until he was older. |

I'm pretty sure we'll find out that Faraday accidentally left a sports almanac at the Other camp, and Widmore, once he found, it, made his fortune on
sports betting. The finale will take place at his self-named casino. And Professor Marvin Candle and Owen will have to escape in a Delorean.
Or maybe I fell asleep after Lost and woke up to somehting else on TV . . . |

How lovely it was not to see Jack or Kate!!!!!!!!!
More of that, please. And Miles is growing on me. I want to fuck Faraday. I bet that's some really intense sex. Charlotte can kick the bucket for all I care. |

How lovely it was not to see Jack or Kate!!!!!!!!! No kidding. With the exception of Ben, I couldn't care less what happens to any of the O6 peeps. |

I still prefer the original cast members. So more Jack, Kate et al., please.
Two things. Richard Alpert (a/k/a Baba Ram Dass - "Be Here Now") accused Locke and his folk of attacking Richard Alpert's folk. But we know John and his people did no such thing. So who did? And where is Claire? |

The American Military are the ones who attacked Richard's people in the 1950s (they think Daniel, Charlotte & Miles are military). Claire is MIA for
who knows how long. Last seen in Jacob's love shack.

Next week looks good, and I think I heard a Claire-sounding scream. :) (Hopefully, she stays alive.)Assuming it was Claire screaming, and based on the other tidbits in the preview, I think what we were hearing was the Losties time traveling back to the island in the post-crash weeks (around the cave-dwelling time, to be specific). Claire was screaming because someone tried to attack her in her sleep (one of our time-skippers perhaps?). That would be cweepy. Also on Claire, I suspect she is not time-skipping with the rest of them because she is now in the island's inner circle (along with Richard, Christian and Jacob). |

I think Claire's dead. She died when her house exploded. Miles knew she was dead, too, from all his comments.
I'm starting to think Richard is dead, too. That's why he doesn't age. But like other dead people on the island, he gets around. |

I don't understand why just because characters have the same name they have to be the same person. Couldn't Des and Penny's kid just be a Charlie,
not THE Charlie?
That said, amaaaazing episode. I second (and third, and fourth) everyone who said an episode without Jack and Kate (as long as they keep Sayid and maybe Sun around they can get rid of the entire O6 as far as I'm concerned) was a nice change! |
