OK. First, Mongolia would be a mainland season, and mainland seasons always have the culture influence the challenges/twists/etc. Mongolia would inevitably be similar to China. And using Panamanian islands three times is much different because 1) they're islands. they dont need to be all that interesting. Pearl Islands, All Stars, and Exile Island were all very different because they had different themes. Only Pearl Islands was culture and history themed. |

You do realise China and Mongolia are different countries, don't you? Different histories, different landscapes... they won't be the same at all.
And Exile Island had a theme. A crappy one, but zombies were there. |

I bet after Tocantins we have an island/beach season. 2/3 of the last two seasons have been inland, that's why I think this.

i for one would love an old english theme for a season. In retrospect I would have liked maybe Fiji to have been set somewhere on an english isle with a theme
to match it. Going from Cook Islands (Island) to English isle (completely new place/local type) then China (new place/similar local type to Amazon) then Palau
would have been better imho
Like someone posted I think it would be awesome to have an old castle as the TC (just a little more open and not like your really inside somewhere) with a moat around the area. It would also be cool to give them turkeys as a reward instead of chickens to go along with the old king henry turkey leg persona....the ideas are endless |

About once a month, sometimes more often, I'm sent a survey from Nielsen Entertainment to fill-out. Today's survey asked several questions about
the importance of Survivor's location in my decision to watch the show. They asked what type of location I prefer (beach, mountain, jungle, etc) , if the
location has ever been the main reason for deciding to watch one of the series, and to rate the importance of using a different location for each series. (I
don't remember the exact wording of the questions).

I said I liked beach locations the best, that they should use a new location for each series and that the location has never been a determining factor. I
said to my husbnad, "Well, maybe I wouldn't watch it if it was filmed in NYC" and he said, "Yes you would." lol!
Not watch Survivor? I don't see that happening. :) |
