Aaden- Aaden who? cant really tell, he and leah are so UTR this season. Yeah really. Aaden is definitely the Gosselin I know the least about. The only thing that stands out about him is that he has glasses and that's not exactly a personality trait. |

Lurlene McDaniels wrote: All I know about him is that he loves animals and still acts like a baby - he doesnt know how to put his underwear on right (or atleast he doesnt want to put it on right). Heres a few things about the other kids: Hannah - motherly, mommys helper, likes to play by herself, the other little ones look up to her, has an attitude. Leah- controlling, knows shes little and will say shes little to get out of having to do certain things (not much else) Alexis- wild, loudest child, likes to tease her siblings, loves alligators, has a plastic alligator that she always plays with, is the child that gets sent to timeout the most (even more than maddy), doesnt get along with collin. Collin- stubborn, likes to build things, orderly and flips out if people make a mess of something he built or cleaned up, kind and caring, mommys helper, likes to help the other kids (use to drive them around the driveway in his litle car), doesnt get along with joel or alexis, wants to control everyone, second loudest child. Joel - sweet and sensitive, strong bond with jon, kind of ditzy, naive, likes to dressup like the girls, third loudest child. Cara- quiet, athletic, likes sports, close with collin, motherly, Maddy- grrrr

I agree that Leah is probably the second most UTR of the Gosselin kids. I like Collin, Alexis and Joel the best. I feel so sorry for Joel and Collin a lot of
the time (eg: Gumgate, Cupcakegate and Joelgate - are those events called those names here or is that mostly a GWoP thing?) Alexis reminds me of me when I was
that age. :)

I'm a very cynical and critical person in general, but I can't side with the haters at all. I love the show.
The show has flaws entertainment-wise. But so far all the criticism have been extreme, like just caricatures amplified. There's little accuracy in them and a lot of just plain old unneccesary negative spin. Some characterizations are fair, however. My criticism of Jon is that he plays too much into the dumb jock/husband role, the typical male. And he's sometimes funny but his humor doesn't often hit the mark. Also, he's not the most romantic person. There were so many moments that the show could have been sweeter if not for Jon deflating everything with more of his "typica male" sort of humor -- the sort appropriate maybe for an early 20 yo guy dating a girl, but not for a father of 8. But he is smart. He's not dumb. He's shown he has a good knack on things as when he talks about his children. I always find his characterizations and analysis of his children on point and in depth, more so than Kate's. I don't like Kate's hair. I agree with someone else who mentioned how her hair, especially in the last episode, with the streaks in them, is reminiscient of 90s rap. It's funny because it's true. But it's early 90s... even late 80s. It's 'Salt N Peppa' hair. I love Hannah and Alexis (Cara and Maddy follow). And this is going to be mean but Aaden is funny as hell... because he reminds me of the "third" copy in the movie Multiplicity. |

aiharaindropsotr wrote: One thing Ive noticed with that though is that compared to jon, kate seems to say more positive things about the children whereas most of his comment seem to be about their bad behavior. He rarely ever has anything postive to say about the boys. Im not saying that he is always making negative or mean comments about them, but when he does make comments they are hardly ever postive. Overall I think he is tougher on the boys, but that could be because two of his boys act babyish and girly lol. |

Joelgate was when Kate placed Joel on the floor of the laundry room and left him there because he had thrown up all over his sheets. Or something like that.

I knew neighbors of these goofs and they were always calling the cops for dumass things. Yet they took only if they liked the color, style, etc. Not a cent
of my money would go to these ingrates. Hair plugs for Goofo? Boob job for her? Get out of here!!!!

Yeah Smartguy. It's always a good idea to leave a feverish, puking little boy on a laundry room floor with the double set of washers & dryers going
and the door shut so you can't hear if he decides to maybe choke on his own vomit. You learn that in parenting 101 like Kate?

Can't wait until Monday to see how the new house kicks off the yabbering GWoP yentas. Expect mass suicides. So much fun!

I think it ("Joelgate") was more the way Kate behaved/treated Joel than anything. If I recall, she snapped at Joel for throwing up and made fun of
him by calling him "vomitous boy" rather than comforting him (however, we saw Hannah being comforted for being sick the same episode...) I suppose it
might also be scary to be put alone in a dark, cold laundry room when you aren't feeling well away from anyone who could comfort you. I know I wouldn't
like it...
That said, GWoP may have over-reacted a little. |

This troll was just trying to enlighten you, Smartguy, that there could have been consequences more severe to the child (the aforementioned choking to death on
his own vomit) than the hag's precious sheets being puked on.
