I'm convinced that a "week on the ranch" does not always equal a real week in our time frame hence the medical updates and physicals that take
place. Any doctor who changes his/her diagnosis/opinion of a person's comparison health within 3-4 weeks would get his/her license revoked. Especially in
these dramatic circumstances.

I'm pretty sure they aren't actually throwing out all that medication. It's a visual aid thing. Look at this.....we CAN throw out these meds if
you lose a million pounds.

Maybe Dan was sick? Or maybe his partner wasn't able to complete his part of the challenge at home so they left Dan out? |

Given that they are being constantly medically supervised, and most if not all of the conditions they are referring to can be scientifically measured by one
type of test or not, and given how quickly many of those diseases CAN go away (been there, done that with high bp and moderately high cholesterol)...it's
entirely possible those arsenals of pills can become medically unnecessary within a few weeks to a month. AS LONG as they stay continually monitored to make
sure there is no relapse.

Maybe the thing with the medications was taped out of sequence.

I think that crazy sounding doctor stores the extra medications in his chipmunk cheeks.

Seriously, you can be on STRONG high bp medication, and within a week or two be able to get off it entirely. Read up on the DASH diet. It seriously works. You
can start eating a can of 'natural' almonds a week and see huge drops in your cholesterol. Mine went from over 220 to under 180 in three weeks after
adding about 20 almonds a day to my diet. It CAN happen fast, people.

Wasn't it mentioned on Sucks that Kai was quoted in an interview that it wasn't really a week that was seen on a single episode. That they could go 10
or 12 days before getting weighed which was why some were posting big numbers on the scale. If that's the case, after 3 or 4 episode weeks the contestants
can be taken of or weaned off as some one here mentioned from the drugs.

I think I read on a board for the Aussie version that a "week" in the fatty house was 10 days or something.

Stefanie71 wrote:No. Joelle was not working up to her potential. It's not like Bob and Jillian have never seen how these people work before. If she had been working up to what her potential was, Bob would not have gone apeshit on her. There has to be a reason for him to blow like that. And it's not simply frustration with not being able to beat Jillian. He had a bunch of other fatties he could have unleashed on. He went off on Joelle because she was giving up. |

It is quite obvious that Joelle was not working up to her potential because two minutes after Bob finished yelling at her, she magically managed to go the damn
30 seconds. Argument settled.
