Any doctor who changes his/her diagnosis/opinion of a person's comparison health within 3-4 weeks would get his/her license revoked. Especially in these dramatic circumstances.

Posts: 325 (01/23/09 1:05 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	Given that they are being constantly medically supervised, and most if not all of the conditions they are referring to can be scientifically measured by one type of test or not, and given how quickly many of those diseases CAN go away (been there, done that with high bp and moderately high cholesterol)...it's entirely possible those arsenals of pills can become medically unnecessary within a few weeks to a month. AS LONG as they stay continually monitored to make sure there is no relapse.

Read up on the DASH diet. It seriously works. You can start eating a can of 'natural' almonds a week and see huge drops in your cholesterol. Mine went from over 220 to under 180 in three weeks after adding about 20 almonds a day to my diet. It CAN happen fast, people.

That they could go 10 or 12 days before getting weighed which was why some were posting big numbers on the scale. If that's the case, after 3 or 4 episode weeks the contestants can be taken of or weaned off as some one here mentioned from the drugs.

I'm not trying to make more excuses for Joelle but I can't imagine a 41 year old woman, weighing 300 lbs would have the endurance to run more than 15-20 seconds at a time without feeling completely wrecked. Instead of beating down on a contestant who was struggling with a particular exercise, this would have been a great opportunity for Bob to introduce an alternative exercise for someone who is in Joelle's condition. They're all in that condition and the rest of them were doing it! We don't all exercise at equal rates. Joelle is working at her pace, as each of the others work at their own pace.

He actually did the competition earlier and didn't eat anything. Nor did his partner. Now, I have to figure out where I saw that.

No. Joelle was not working up to her potential. It's not like Bob and Jillian have never seen how these people work before. If she had been working up to what her potential was, Bob would not have gone apeshit on her. There has to be a reason for him to blow like that. And it's not simply frustration with not being able to beat Jillian. He had a bunch of other fatties he could have unleashed on. He went off on Joelle because she was giving up.
