and less on the train wrecks. I haven't seen it so far. They'll spend 5 minutes on some 17 year old girl who's obviously mentally ill, but 3/4 of the people who are going on to the next round are flashed across the closing credits. Not only do they trot these poor souls out to humiliate themselves, but now they get them all to sing one other song so they can make a montage of it. What's next, make them strip to their underwear and have the panel throw dung at them? They obviously learned nothing from that poor girl killing herself in Paula's back yard. I hope these scumbags are sued into the gutter. |

oh gross, I hate those bloated messes. I just DVR them and only watch them if something exciting happens like Fatty Johns getting blindsided last year.
anyhow, is it just me, or is the biggest change the fact that we don't have any of the "maybe" auditions anymore? Like last season they had a lot where you could be like "oh, that sucks, they were ALMOST good enough" or "oh, they should have just let her through". The auditions this year are AWFUL because the editing is so heavy-handed. If the person comes in looking like a shitty drugged out mess, then SURPRISE! they suck, and the put together ones all make it to Hollywood. Its just gotten boring. |

Soooooooooo sick of all the "stories" that mean nothing, and are boring as hell. Also sick of the going out the door with the yellow pc of paper and jumping in the air or into the arms of some fat woman, etc. When do these fake auditions end? And when do they bring in the "ringers" they put in each yr they really want to win, because they've already been vetted by the record company, like they did with Michael Johns, Carly, etc.? |

I know they feel they need to include sob stories. But if they have to do them I wish they would stop closing EVERY audition episode with them. Sooo
predictable and boring.
They do have the usual train wrecks and delusionals, but there does seem to be fewer attention whores who just want to be on TV for 2 minutes being given airtime. |
