Ok, I really think Candace will quit the game. I've always had that gut feeling based on her TV guide photo, she looks miserable. After seeing Jeff's Comments it just made it more clear... I had high hopes for her, but that's what u get from recruiting, people don't REALLY want it.

Erinn looks freakish to me, she looks like a child prostitute.

JT is also freakish, like he bellongs to one of those small town who canibalizes people who are lost on the road.

After watching each video I can tell I like Ben, Tyson, Spencer and Debbie (I did thought i would like them, but didin't wanna say anything before reading the bios). I changed my mind about Sierra, after watching the videos she seemed fun.

Okay, so I might have figured out something....

�

If you go to around 2:27, you can see Jalapao walking and I *think* there is only 7 of them. I believe Joe is missing, based on the clothing. It's hard to see but I can't physically find his orange-ish shirt, and everyone else� is wearing their clothing from the pictures. So maybe Joe is one of the first two "voted out"?

I had thought the same thing when I first watched the video on CBS, ILT. But if you stop motion on the CBS video (clearer than youtube) you can see all 8 Jalapenos.

courtney (china) was the skinniest of her season and that doesn't mean she was good U_U

also it's not like sydney and carolina are fat, i'm pretty sure they will be able to pull their own weight, Taj may be a bit heavier but if there are one on one matches i'm pretty sure she'll beat up any of the other females, same with Sandy(?)

i think the guys might be at a little disadvantage

but i have hope that Jalapao will prevail

This is purely speculation but there are two times during the youtube video when a member of one tribe comments on a member of the other tribe.
Tyson commenting on Sandy and Sierra commenting on Sydney. Might be nothing, but Sierra and Sandy do seem like reasonable boots/ trieb switchees/ whatever the fucking twist is

It's not like they go through training separately. They know who everyone on the cast is, and have not been separated from the second that they landed in Brazil. It would be entirely natural for them to comment on anyone they've noticed, especially if the question is asked before they were put into tribes.

Probably not, as Tyson refers to Sandy as "the old lady" or something, and Sierra just called Sydney "the girl who looks like me". They would probably call them by their names if they were on the same tribe.

The cast of Survivor Tocantins is a strong group, and one with fewer extremes. I have no doubt some will appall us and others will make us love them based upon their behavior during the show, but in person, they were pretty much all likable, engaging people-a nice change from Gabon.

Thus, it was very hard for me to rank the 16 new cast members this season from likable to unlikable, which I did last season. In Brazil, I found Sandy to be downright annoying but incredibly fun to talk to (hell, she was wearing a dehydrated animal penis as a necklace); Brendan was reserved and skeptical but smart and friendly; Spencer was in hyper superfan mode but was a great Survivor conversationalist.

Starting next week, look for an interview a day with more details you won't find anywhere else, including information about who was recruited (a lot of them), plus my analysis of their potential in the game and their strategies.

Tyson Apostol: witty, unassumingly smart
Erinn Lobdell: fun, charming
Candace Smith: amusing, assertive
Spencer Duhm: young, cutely enthusiastic
Tamara "Taj" Johnson-George: charming, well-rounded
Brendan Synnott: cautious, attentive
Benjamin "Coach" Wade: impossibly arrogant, self-aware
Carolina Eastwood: worldly, perky
Jerry Sims: resourceful, friendly
Debra "Debbie" Beebee: considerate, inviting
Sydney Wheeler: interesting, average
Joe Dowdle: resolute, agreeable
James "JT" Thomas Jr.: nice, flat
Sandy Burgin: super-crazy-enthusiastic, annoying
Sierra Reed: prepared, brash
