I'm going to punch somebody if Micronesia is #1.
Cook Islands had great characters. It gets a lot of hate from "format fundamentalists" around here because of F3, 20 players, 9 member jury, and overpowerful idol. It also gets alot of hate for having shitty editing and few great characters.

Oh yeah. Micronesia, Australia and Amazon, not Borneo. Borneo is the middle season. Micronesia had no character development and felt extremely robotic and
boring.

I never thought Micronesia was boring. It was the first season in awhile I actually enjoyed 100 percent.

Cecilia: No airtime. Cristina: UTR/INV for most of her stay. Jessica: Worthless. Brad: UTR. Rebecca: UTR. Jenny: UTRN bitch, but not a good villain. Candice: UTR. Parvati: UTR most of the season, sans 2-3 episodes. Adam: UTR. Sundra: UTR. Becky: INV. Great characters????????????????????????????????? |

No one from Raro was UTR.
I hope China, Gabon, Marquesas and Borneo are next...I like them but don't love them. I think China is supposed to be a Sucks favorite tho. |

Fiji had a pretty depressing, long and straight forward pre-merge and a really obvious winner. It had some good moments but it's right above Thailand (my
least favorite season ever) for me. I love the show tho, so it's hard for me to pick a "bad" season. I'm not one of those people that hates
every season but one and hopes it can't get back the integrity it once had or whatever the fuck bullshit is constantly being spewed here.

Parvati and Candice weren't UTR, and Cristina and Flicka had decent development. See edgic ratings.
To fairly compare a 20 and 16 player season you need to: 1) Throw out the 4 most UTR players from the larger cast. What do they matter if both season have equivalent development for the other 16? (7-8 really good characters and only a few UTR from the best 16). 2) Assess airtime on number of episodes where they made an impact and not average visibility per episode. For example, Parvati finishing 6th meant she was in 12 episodes plus a recap. A traditional season would only give the 6th place person 10 episodes. So why complain if she was UTR in a few, when she still made an impact in 6-9 of them? Yul - one of best strategists ever Ozzy - one of the best of his type Jonathan -,the best of his type Candice and Parvati - not many seasons have more young girls of that calibre Nate, Cowboy, Billy - very memorable

16 player seasons have LESS useless filler. That's all that matters. It doesn't matter if they have the same number of developed characters. The
less filler, the better.

I don't really care about the number, only how much I like the cast. Thailand had less people, but they sucked. So to me the initial number and how many of
those people get storylines is sort of meaningless.
