I am watching season 6 of L&O and my God...I miss Jerry Orbach
He literally made that season into work of art. |

As they say, "the original is still the best" and I love how the new cast breathed new life into L&O. But can we PLEASE change the subtitle of this thread? I want EVERYONE to know that Law & Order is on WEDNESDAYS!!!! The more viewers the better. I know this is Sucks, but I want us to help potential new viewers find this show. kthnx. |

What NBC needs to do is have a semi nude pic of Lupo with the caption Wednesday 10pm.....that would work!! |

I love the new Law and Order cast. They're all so good. It's like a brand new show.

I've watched since Day 1 and will never stop watching......the reference of Adam Schiff (especially last night) always brings me back to how great this show is, even though it's gone through so many cast changes..... |

You weren't kidding anders, "left hand and a bowl of water", and "you show me yours I'll show you mine" had me rolling, only 15
minutes in.

Ned Beatty was brilliant in this episode. Just the right balance of strength and weakness. It was so good to see him back on tv.

Not this last episode, but the one before it, I was insulted that they had Vivica Fox play someone that could outsmart anyone

I found this clip on YouTube. Still one of the all-time funniest (although not intentionally) moments in TV history:

Total WTF moment.

First of all, who do we talk to about changing the title of the thread.
Next. Oh. My. Fucking. God. This episode was Shakespearean. More drama than usual for an original L&O episode, but it totally worked. That asshole defense attorney was a good villain for Cutter. And I totally loved how this episode wasn't an obvious "ripped-from-the-headlines!!!!!!" storyline. Everyone was amazing: Cutter, hottie ADA, Lupo, even gravelly-voiced, weird-accented judge. Loved, loved, loved this ep. |

mateohead wrote: I agree about the judge's weird southern accent. The actress Mercedes Ruehl has played women of mexican or cuban descents a lot so seeing her as a southerner was odd and unnecesary for the role. Also looks like she had her lips puffed (doesn't everyone) so it took a bit to recognize her. |

It was indeed a very, very good episode and it reminded me of how shitty SVU is in comparison. I may have to stop watching that one altogether. The original is still the best. That litigation attorney is Dallas Roberts, and he used to play Kit's fiance on The L Word. |

That was an awesome episode. I followed it up by watching one of the old episodes where Paul Sorvino and Chris Noth were the detectives and it was not the same
vibe as I didn't care for the attorneys. I prefer the later seasons.

I thought Jeremy Sisto would be my drool-over guy on this show now, but it's definitely Linus Roache. I love his character.
Accept no substitutes, this Law and Order kicks ass. This episode was Emmy worthy. |

Sisto all the way for me. Linus is too wimpy looking for me.
Excellent episode. It almost feels like the old days with Shiff and Stone and Lenny and Logan. Loved it. |
