Yeah, Chet completely reminds me of Matt from New Orleans. I can't decide how I feel about him. On one hand, if he is straight and that confident in who he is, good for him for walking to the beat of his own drum. On the other hand, he needs to learn the shut the fuck up. He does have a problem with talking about everyone's business.

I also agree with those saying Ryan is a douchebag. Honestly, it's fine if you wanna gossip a little. It's only natural in a group of new people. However, his reactions were downright disgusting. The stairway conversation was a perfect example. His whole spiel to JD about he knew JD was gay, but waiting for him to say something was horrible. No one owes you anything, Ryan. The same for Katelynn. Yes, it may seem obvious to others that she is different, but in her head, she may not feel that way. She said on the after show that she was 3 weeks post-op. That doesn't seem like a lot of time at all. She's probably just getting used to it herself. Yes, it's easy to say she should just come out, but in her head, she may not think other people know. And, I also agree with Ryan's hypocrisy. The whole feeling like everyone needs to tell him everything, while he hides his background, is so fucking hypocritical. Also, even if you take the "it" comment away, his whole freaking out to JD that he wants Katelynn to know he doesn't have a problem with it (but is just ignorant) seemed like he was protesting too much. I can totally see him being condescending when Katelynn does come out.

What I found interesting was Katelynn's comments on the aftershow. When she and Ryan were both on, Mark asked her about the "it" comment. She said that she was hurt, but took into consideration that Ryan was from a small town and it was early on in the show. However, she said they're somewhat friends now. Definitely looks like they have more issues throughout the season.
