The added tension of that looming execution of Col.Ryan is a stroke of genius, even though I'm doubting the show will actually go there. Might be an understandable "code" for the unit but can a network tv show handle that? Yeah, this show probably could. But I'd still bet on Mac or Ryan getting offed before the execution. That shot in the cabin, after Grey's jar bomb blew up and Mac came in - when Jonas sits up with metal embedded all over his face and shoulder and he just looks down and pulls out his knife. Greatness.

I didn't know CBS.com only kept 2 episodes for replay on their website, or I would have gone and tried to vied part 1 of the 2 parter sooner. I have missed a lot of these episodes because of the football games taking too long. I have never successfully figured out how to bitorrent and download episodes. So, does anyone know where else a fan might find these to view online? Youtube was useless, I could not find episode 7 there. Thanks in advance if you know of anyplace.

I totally agree. They should forget about the family and espionage angle and just tell stories concerning the guys in The Unit. I don't think any of the women are very good actresses so keep them around for window dressing and concentrate on the undercover work. And nix the drug addiction theme. That is going to be one lame and long drawn out story.

Thank goodness the drug addiction story line was limited to the one show and now it's over and done with. This epi had the first real WTF moment for me in a long time. It's been ages since I've been caught that off guard. The monastery side line was only okay but the Kansas City plot could have some interesting repercussions.

The Unit isn't the best show I've ever sunk time into, but it's far from the worst. And I wouldn't really have been asleep, anyway.

My creepo radar was screaming the minute I first laid eyes on him. I actually thought he was a mole or something (too much 24, I guess) but slime bucket co-worker works just as well. I was shocked at how many red dots lit up but I never really calculated how many passports were in the safe. And I'm very disappointed that the new unit wife is being portrayed as a liability. Can't any of them just be happy? Do they always have to have angst in their lives? I don't really care much for the family stories to begin with - I just want Unit action but it would be nice for a change to have a reasonably smooth sailing home life. And I thought they were supposed to be back on base with their kids? Why are they still in those lousy apartments?

It's too hard to keep up with all of the stops and starts with all the shows this year. Nothing stays put in its own time slot anymore. I think the show jumped a dolphin tonight. There's no way that guy should have escaped and it was so predictable that I rolled my eyes. That was just poor writing, IMO.

Even after all was said and done, I expected Bridgette to be dirty instead of him. I just wanted a better reason for why he would do that to her. Plus, I wanted him in the unit. There are two more episodes (Chaos Theory and End Game) These could wind up being the last of the series as it doesn't appear there is going to be another season. (fingers crossed, it gets another season)!

The young, reckless daredevil type who you just know likes to go rock climbing and drink Mountain Dew on the weekends. So I was surprised they went down the creepy stalker alley with his xter and even more surprised that Jonas was so willing to bring him in. I just thought if the unit was willing to let Mac kill the Colonel for sleeping with is wife, that they'd apply the same hard code to Whiplash for trying to rape Red Cap. Of course, now that's he escaped from the cops, I expect he will end up dead. I just hope that's not the note the show goes out on.
