some info you might enjoy about monique and ashley, and no, just because i'm from rochester i don't know them. LOL but as far as monique being a native of NYC? nope.

Two Rochester-Area Models Contestants on Reality Show

(Rochester/New York) --- Two women from the Rochester area are featured on a new ABC reality show premiering 10 p.m. Monday on 13 WHAM.

The ten contestants on "True Beauty" think they are being judged solely on their looks but, unbeknownst to them, the judges also evaluated them on their inner beauty.

Monique Santiago of Honeoye Falls and Ashley Michaelson of Williamson are pursuing modeling careers in New York City.

Each had different takes on the show.

Santiago said, "The show gives me a lot of exposure and gives me an extra push to get more jobs."

Michaelson said, "The people who know me the best will know the true me. They won't show us in the best light, because you know, otherwise people wouldn't watch it."
