So has this show actually gotten legitimately good or is it good in comparison to Grey's?
It's probably not awards material, but I think it's legitimately good. It doesn't feel like a complete waste of time when you watch it.

I think its legitimitely good also. I like all the characters and think they all have good chemistry with each other and with the patients and the plots are
usually pretty interesting. I've enjoyed every episode this season so far.

The writer's strike seems to have done this show a lot of good..... this season has been pretty damn good so far
Just read that Kate Walsh's hubby filed for divorce..... maybe that explains the new haircut lol |

Divorce already, didn't they just get married?
Not that I should be surprised, they are celebrities. |

I totally enjoy this show. It's not in my top 10, but I never miss it. The characters seem real, the practice is interesting, and Cooper is a-dor-a-ble.

The thing about this show that has made this season particularly good is that they are not forcing any of the relationships. I think the reason it
"failed" critically in Season 1 was because every relationship was wooden and unnatural. It was obvious that Pete was created to be Addison's
on/off love interest, Cooper and Violet were supposed to have all this sexual tension that never materialized and the Dell/Naomi/Sam love triangle was supposed
to intrigue us. Instead, they let the relationships progress naturally - Cooper and Hospicunt are chemistry gold, Pete and Violet is a much more believable
pairing for both characters, and they seem to have dropped the triangle all together and let the Sam/Naomi relationship progress naturally, which is much more
intriguing anyway.
I still think Pete and Sam are wastes of space in this show and both of the new men from the 4th floor are much more interesting. |

I love Brian Benben, nice to see him on this show. He's a great addition.

I think it is a word! Yes I can say that the last 10 minutes of this show is always the best in the week of television! I hate that we have to wait till Jan
for a new eppy. And that ABC is tricking me to actually watch Greys beforehand!

The two being back to back will just show how infinitely better Private Practice is.
The stories, the writing, the characters, the hotness of the cast.... > Grey's |

Did no one watch the new episode last night?
It was good, yet again. I can't comprehend why Sam and Addison would be annoyed at Naomi for consulting with Lockhart in order to help a woman have a baby. I mean I know they hate Dr. Lockhart and the other practice is in competition with them but she's helping a woman have a baby, not something evil or something ethically sketchy. The kidnapping storyline was interesting. I was glad Cooper helped them escape and glad Charlotte covered for Coop. I hope they get back together soon. They have such good chemistry. They've been good apart but I'd like to see them together again. Pete and Violet <3 Addison's cop being a douche = hate. What an ass, so she sent her house keeper over to clean up his house before he went home. That doesn't mean she looks down upon him. Addison doesn't seem like the type to really look down on others just because she's rich. She had his house cleaned to do something nice for him. What a dickhead. |

^^^Yeah its all that mumbojumbo Addisons bro put in his head! Remember the hooker called Addison out on her not having to be without ever in her life too.
Wonder if this is going somewhere soon...

I don't know where it would be going, but we'll see. Again I don't think Addison seems like the type of person to look down on others and stuff
like that.

Addisen's now-ex-boyfriend is the typical macho cop asshole. He can't handle her having money, so he mentally creates issues about it where none exist.
Seen that type, hate it. Hope there's another blowout scene between him, and then he's gone for good.

Yeah, I was confused by that too. I could see it sort of... like "working with the enemy" but the client was already part of hospicunt's practice, so it's not like they were stealing a patient or losing one. So, they really were not making/losing ANY money. |

Did anyone else catch that the little boy's insulin machine (whatever it is called??), moved? When Cooper first checks the incision, it is on the
boy's right side and infected. Later in the hospital he checks it again and it has magically moved to the other side.
I am also wondering who out there picks their doctor based on how good the coffee tastes? I think the whole idea of them stealing patients because of decor or the buffet table is just stupid. People go to doctors because they trust them or because of their specialty or a referral. Not because they serve coffee. |

It didn't move-it was replaced. I'm assuming that when they do that, esp. if there's a bad infection at the site of the first one, the new one is
in a different location.

Best episode of the season so far, IMO. So glad we're finally done with SWAT guy. I know he wasn't the same character, but I couldn't help
assosiating him with Chris from Gilmore Girls (that asshole who pretty much single-handedly ruined the seventh season AND Lorelai and Luke's relationship).
His character in this was definitely not much better. Maybe now they can have Mark transfer over from Grey's. Then I'd be very happy. As for Pete, I
didn't have much opinion of him until this episode. Now I do not like him. I felt bad for Meg. She gave up so much to be with Pete and this is what she
gets? Bleh. Completely random prediction: At some point, Sam will have a bad asthma attack and have to be hospitalized.
