Obama is a slick politician.. always was and always will be.. never was the great black hope so consider this that anyone in that office at this time.. fucked.
As for some of his choices the dude with the best seller.. clearly this has Oprah's handprint all over it.. I would be worried if suddenly in a fit of
pique he picks E. Stanley O'Neal as Chairman of the Federal Reserve. Rubin makes me sick enough

Not so much he recylcled some of them but having so many who have loyalties or pre-existing relationships to his main competitor, Hillary. With Hillary as SoS and the generous sprinkling of Clintonastas here and there, it plants the potential seed or seeds for internal fraticide. I can't help but see land mines here. Obama's in a tough spot. So much hype and build up except the magic wand doesn't exist. He has to tackle the economy and foreign issues, navigate the Clinton land mines and the poor guy can't even start his administration before having the inevitable scandal erupt. |

Rev. Jeremiah Wright supports gay marriage. Guess the Prop 8 activists think it would have been more appropriate for Obama to pick him for the invocation?
Yes, Barack Obama is letting Rick Warren speechify his purpose-driven claptrap at the inaugural. (he's also having the very liberal Rev. Joseph Lowery give his benediction) Meanwhile, while the media is obsessed about the Rick Warren issue Obama's also considering appointing a GAY for a real job as Secretary of the Navy. Frankly, I think it's a brilliant political manuever to have this Rick Warren smokescreen to distract the media and conservatives from Obama's actual support for gay rights. BTW, what's awesome is that as pissed as many progressives are at Obama for picking Warren, apparently a ton of pro-life zealots are freaking out on Warren for agreeing to be a part of the inaugural. http://www.cbn.com/CBNnews/504326.aspx From Pat: |

Okay, I couldn't resist making a joke. But I'm surprised memy thinks it rational to hide doing a good thing by doing a bad thing. Or maybe that's
putting the cart before the horse. But that email makes me think, at least Warren's sales will slump.

Regarding the Warren stuff, he just asked the man to say a prayer for a crowd. He didn't ask him to exterminate all the gays and anything with touches of
homo in it. Can't you endure the man speaking for TWO minutes?!?
If it's any consolation, Rick Warren kinda looks like a power bottom closet case on the surface himself.... |

If Jeremiah Wright didn't matter, then Rick Warren doesn't matter either.
Whoever he chooses as head witch doctor doesn't matter. I only care about what Obama is going to do for the economy, the war, etc. The rest of the hocus pocus is irrelevant. |

This is probably the most retarded controversy I've read. All he's doing is reading a damn prayer for fucks sake.
People at the inaug can always boo Rick Warren, and hopefully some will. Well I hope they would have the decency to not boo during the prayer, that would be so disrespectful. |
