Susie less active than BOB in the alliance game? LOL First of all, this statement doesn't even make any sense. What makes you active in the
"alliance game?" Having one? If so, then they were both active, however, if it means changing alliances when needed then it was just proven right
now that Bob was happy to be Kota's 5th wheel, whereas Susie was more than happy to switch alliances to advance in the game. Is this what you meant by
alliance game, because if so then your whole statement is completely misguided. She IS boring, granted, but her and Sugar were like infinitely times more
deserving than Bob.

I never respected Susie's game. I also went through the season thinking she was a bit of a dud in the way she game off as a character; afterall, the game
is also a show for entertainment, and Susie was one of the least compelling characters.
I was stunned that she came so close to actually winning, and this interview gives me a little more insight into her thinking, which was more involved than what I had given her credit for. She was the beneficiary of some lucky breaks, engineered by other players, but I have to admit that I give her more credit now in retrospect than I ever did during the show. It can't be all luck and coattails. Survivor is an exercise in Chaos Theory, and there's no such thing as a "deserving" winner. As someone who has applied straight up as a regular fan and would love to play the game, even without the promise of a million dollars, I do have a soft spot for players who are fans and want to play as opposed to players who are recruited. If true, Susie was a real fan applicant and not someone filling a character roll. Perhaps that's why she came off as character dud. Most of us probably would too. That's probably why casting isn't as open as we'd like. The producers want to engineer entertainment. They need Randys and Corinnes and Mattys and Kennys. But I do give her credit for surviving way longer than I would have expected. I'd have only kept her around because I'd have figured she'd be fodder in final tribal council. I may not agree with her tactics or strategy, but at least she apparently was thinking some. I barely got that from her arc. Seemed to me she was doing little else than just saying "what are we doing?" and trying to go along, under the radar, with whatever decision would save her one more round. (I don't know if I buy the whole "I told Corinne I was thinking of voting for her" thing as some calculated move...I suspect that was just post facto rationale.) |

Sorry but susie was playing to be fifth in the fang tribe. If not for that Idol trick (or ken trying to get jury votes. Whichever story is believable). Susie
would have been gone when crystal left. Bob won when he had to win hence he played a better game than good ole ms one move who sat on her ass the rest of the
game

As for him being content, he wasnt in danger at the time and jumping to the other side would have been dum as fuck. They played very similar games except Susie was fighting to make final threeI dont call fighting to go to a final 5 where you have 0 alliances ( by her own account), fighting your way into the three. |

Alright, just saying that Bob does go at 6 and we have our Fang F5. Ken and Crystal are going after Matty. Matty is gunning for Ken, assuming Susie is with
him. Susie isn't a target by anyone. She sneaks into the F4 at least, and depending on where Sugar goes, could be a lock to get dragged into the F3 anyway.
And no, Amai, you can't possibly say Bob was playing to win. He was 5th in a 6 person alliance and was completely aware of that fact. Susie was 6th in the alliance and flipped. She was always looking for better odds, always looking to win. THAT is why she deserved to win over Bob. |

I dont call fighting to go to a final 5 where you have 0 alliances ( by her own account), fighting your way into the three. What do you call flipping at 10 when you realize you're 6th in your alliance? After her flip her strategy was to go UTR and sell her vote for her benefit. |

Going from a six person alliance to a five person alliance for susie was a no brainer,epecially after Marcus turned down her offer of a final 3.
We have no idea what Bob was thinking. All that is known is that it was way too early for Bob to jump into an alliance that he had no connection to. |

Noone criticizes Bob for not flipping.
What we do criticize Bob for doing is not caring about where he places. Because all the way from the beginning to the F8, he didn't care. Bob started playing Survivor about Day 30. He was playing "Let's Go Camping" until then. Let me also note that I love Bob. As a person and as a character. He just didn't deserve to win over Susie and Sugar, who both started playing Day 1. |

Bob's camping is what kept him in the game. He was proactive while Susie was happy to sit around camp and hope that she wasnt voted off.
