We haven't had a good season since 10 except for thae back pack teamsThe entire cast of TAR10 apart from Duke/Lauren was horrible. After Peter/Sarah left, the models spent most of the season smirking more than Eric/Jeremy with none of their (attempts at) humour. Romberley were the dullest bickering couple since Ron/Kelly. And all the politically correct minority teams like Vipul/Arti were duller than Hope/Norm. The fact people were rooting for the BQs mainly because they weren't horribly inept like most previous female teams speaks volumes. Even TAR13 wasn't as predictable as the middle of TAR10. |

I enjoyed this season, I have a slight preference for this season simply because of the results. I'm not sure if I can ever get over TK & Rachel
winning. If there is one TAR that I hate over others, its definitely TAR10.

What is with this myth that Mark/Bill were even remotely entertaining/significant? Yeah, they were nice guys and it sucked how they got out but if they'd
stayed in over Kelly/Christy, the season would have been even worse.

I've watched re-runs of TAR12 and it still gives me the chills. It's just FUCKING.GREAT to watch those teams doing (mostly) great tasks in (mostly)
awesome countries.
TAR13 was definitely an above average season. But it just lacks.... substance. The locations weren't fantastic (Russia, again? India right after TAR12? Brazil, again?), the tasks were mostly bleh with the exception of a few and the elimination order wasn't very ideal (though it could've been worse with an Aja/Ty, Anthony/Stephanie and Dandrew F3). Kelly/Christy (subjective, YES I KNOW) and Terence/Sarah were almost the only good things that this season will remembered for. (in a good way) |

Yeah, they were nice guys and it sucked how they got out but if they'd stayed in over Kelly/Christy, the season would have been even worse.The weird thing about this season is that there was almost an ideal boot order, at least in terms of the duller players leaving first and all the entertainment making the Final 6 - which hasn't really happened since TAR2 (since TAR12 would have been great with Ari/Staella, Kate/Pat, Marianna/Julia etc still in, assuming the sisters actually got screentime). All the other crappy seasons could at least be blamed on the interesting/dynamic/diverse/dramatic teams leaving before the halfway point - this time they survived at least 2/3 of the way it was still pretty meh. At least TAR4/7/10 had the potential to be amazing; TAR13 is the only season that couldn't have improved all that much with a different boot order. |

This "season" would've been pretty kick-ass, IMO.It would have been better, but it wouldn't be much of a huge change (except for extra Kelly/Christy laffos, which weren't enough to save several of the early episodes from being decidedly average) - 3/5 of the early boots are the same. Marisa/Brooke and Mark/Bill were as low drama as Nick/Starr and Toni/Dallas, but a little more entertaining. Terence had mellowed out so much by the end that there wasn't really any story there. It would also remove Dallas' stupidity which was one of the few memorable things to take away from the season. Terence/Sarah only missed three episodes and Kelly/Christy four, so it's hardly the same as a fantasy scenario such as Amanda/Chris, Steve/Josh, Tian/Jaree or Gus/Hera, Lena/Kristy, Don/MJ etc. where even the longest surviving boot missed 6 episodes. |
