I don't really mind the no-touching rule or that Digby seems to be aware of it. I think this show has hinted more than once that Digby is more intelligent than most dogs. It's a shame Chenowith won't get the recognition she deserves.

See, that's why the cancellation of this show is so premature and shortsighted. All the various and mutiple yet-to-be-seen interactions between and among the characters. The chemistry between Olive and Emerson, for example, was sweet and trippy, funny as hell, and leaves you wanting more. The whole fucking cast, the writing, all deserve awards. Like shooting stars, this show is over way too soon.

I don't watch any of those shows. The only ones for me to pull for are America Ferrara and Neil Patrick Harris. PD definitely deserved some noms. Of course, it deserved to be renewed, too, but oh well. Another very good episode last night. Makes me sad there are only 4 left.

I think that this show may have been expensive to produce with the stylized filming and special effects. But what a damn waste. Where is the online petition to not cancel? Is it possible this show could come back ala Family Guy, once people discover it after the cancellation. Def looking forward to hearing Ellen and Kristen singing together. And I will have to download the title for my new ringtone on my iPhone.

CBS said both sitcoms drew their biggest audiences this season. In the same time slot, "Secret Millionaire" paid off with 7.2 million viewers for Fox. The NBC special "Little Spirit" charmed 5 million. The soon-to-end "Pushing Daisies" drew nearly 5 million to ABC. WFTV-Channel 9 pre-empted "Pushing Daisies" but will show it at 5 p.m. Sunday.

Once the show had effectively been cancelled by ABC most borderline fans would abandon it. So many viewers are gun shy about trying something new to begin with for fear of it being cancelled, even fewer invest the time once a show's burning off episodes. Not sure how I feel about Fuller's "post production" ending to the series. I mean unless he means pp AND some extra scenes he shot just in case.

It's only fitting that they do live their happily ever after together.

That and Family Guy is animated so its easy to just start it back up again, Pushing Daisies however is live action and the actors are all hot commodities who might not be all available anymore if it ever comes back particularly Chenoweth so its nigh impossible for the show to be renewed after cancellation unless ABC does so practically immediately. besides, If we ever do get Daisies started back up again, it's not gonna be as good as it is now. Look at the good side, at least we'll never see Pushing Daisies jump the shark and will be eternally awesome like Wonderfalls and Firefly.....as long as it doesn't end on a cliffhanger (a la Popular)

Family Guy is a cartoon. If you want to bring back the characters in a cartoon you buy some colored pens and start drawing again. It's impossible with real life actors, especially the talented cast of this wonderful show. Once this show wraps up (and it has) you could never retrieve a Chi McBride or a Kristin Chenoweth. Probably not any other cast member either. They will be off doing the next wonderful things in their lives. Enjoy the final four eps for what they are. It's all we get.
