Do the producers dislike that actress or her character THAT much? And I'm on board with everybody. If they're gonna write the show this shitty, just call it a day. Its not what it used to be. Oh and Colleenlover - I thought the same thing. Poor Sheryl Lee just can't get a show where she survives, can she??

Whatever else is going on, they're going out of their way to bring the plotpoints to a shared resolution. So now Simon didn't kidnap Lucy Liu's brother, but is benevolently holding the poor kid in some Up With People program?! Had this show simply allowed Donald Sutherland and Jill Clayburgh to work their magic, it'd still be on the air. Simon Elder plotline? Death for DSM. Blair Underwood is an accomplished actor, but he ain't no Donald Sutherland or Jill Clayburgh. Feh. A great series that might've been an Ewings' Dallas for our times. Sadly, not to be.

He/She met with Ellen's brother and they discussed what they knew. He/she looked puzzled when the shooting spree occurred. I think there was some type of agreement that he/she was betrayed on. By the way - is Carmelita a man or woman in real life? Brian makes the show! Now he can pray for the writers to come up with a less ridiculous plot. He can expose that and the fact he was mandated to a psych hospital to shut him up. This would end Patrick's political career and the respect of the Darling family.
