If only something like this can be actually done, the world would be a better place.

I personally always loved the flow of the whole "previously on" segment immediately followed by the intro that pretty much sets the mood for the show. The intro was this really nice sort of ritual or tradition with survivor itself, part of its over-all identity, that's why a lot of fans hate it everytime they mess with it.

There being no opening credits Thursday is something different.

They couldn't get up and dance because the song was cut to 20 seconds! I didn't care 'cause it meant I gots to see the oldest son's fine ass for a few more minutes each week! Oh, and then that fuckin' Step By Step show would come on about a bunch of white kids. We didn't want to watch that shit, so we'd turn the TV off and go watch the drivebys on our porch. Holla!!

I know they USED to show all castaways in the intro but as you said lately they only show the one's still in the game. This season though, for some reason, Dan who is neither still in the game nor the jury is still the first one shown. They dont show his name (like everyone else) but still, he is shown and looks very sexy.
