Man you guys are impatient.

She came over last night. She came in and sat down in the living room. Pup usually greets people very enthusiastically, but he had been on the kitchen floor all day. He wasn't going to let that stop him. A few yelps and shakes to stand up and he made his way slow into the living room to say hello and wiggle for a few minutes. Once he's up, he doesn't like to go back down so he stiff legged it around for awhile.

I ordered some Chinese food in and we ate. During dinner pup wonkily grabbed his leash and harness and brought it over and started pushing it in my lap. I rebuffed him and so he went to her and put it on her lap. I didn't like that so I told him to leave her alone. She thought it was funny and said if he was up to it we could take him for a walk after dinner. By the end of dinner pup was walking ok and waiting by the front door.

We took him for a short walk and it was good because he's usually very highstrung but was rather mellow and slow. Didn't go far because he still didn't look 100%. Funny thing was a group of teen boys in oversized pants around their knees were walking towards us and he alerted up and walked like he was the strongest dog around. Head up, ears forward, trotting like a Lipizanner. They took a wide berth. After they were comfortably out of range, he went back to being pathetic.

Enough about the dog. We got back and I offered to take her to get a movie. She saw my collection and said we could watch something from it. She picked Entrapment, the closest thing to a chick flick I have that isn't 100 years old. We watched that in the dark and and talked through most of it. Not sure we saw much of it at all. After the movie we did something really geeky that I won't expand upon, but was really cool and funny that she wanted to try it. Then we stayed up really late, and she went home really late.
