Pirates? Really? On the high seas? With warships patrolling the waters? Where is their radar? Where is air cover? Where is satellite surveillance? How can a pirate ship just sail right up to a huge tanker undetected? How can they board without resistance? What the fuck is going on here? I have questions. |

Modern-day pirates are armed; while their conquestees are not. Pirated ships, tho gigantic, have small crews. Pirate vessels are small and can sneak up within the wake of larger ship without detection. |

I don't think the tankers and their skeleton crew are allowed to carry weapons due to some treaty.
You'd think they'd get wise to the Pirating going on and hire some mercenaries to travel with them. I mean, the companies are sending a gazillion dollars worth of oil across the ocean, you'd think they'd have some kind of security in place. |

The morons made the two biggest mistakes possible, #1 - they kidnapped British citizens.... which means the SAS/SBS are en route. #2, they are fucking with US
fuel distribution.
