DEX: Deb, do you know where to find a good key lime pie? DEB: You can't, they all taste like sour dog shit. To the show's credit, the final scene was just way too well done for me to be anything but fascinated. MCH and the actress playing Camilla were absolutely fantastic. Deb hooking up with the CI - Angel finding love with the vice cop - a wedding for Dex and Rita. I say tragedy has to strike somewhere.

I nearly bought a slice but then I remembered Camilla saying that key lime pie isn't green. Since this one was, I passed.

Vice detective kissing Angel last episode made me cringe...ditto for Anton/Deb. On a side note, Rita looks freakin hot.

If you're ordering one and you're not in South Carolina, they just added the food coloring to match what most people think a Key Lime would look like -- green. They in fact look like round lemons. It's still going to be delicious. Maybe I was just so happy to be close to the finish line in getting caught up at last, but I haven't noticed any reduction in quality of the series this season. Yeah the vice hooker deciding to date a john is kind of dumb, but classic Dexter in Angel letting her know that he recogized the trap with the redhead floozy. I was uncomfortable with the convos between Dex and Harry, but they're growing on me. They're no worse than the old flashbacks. ETA: BTW, I've gotten the OK from the threadstarter to tweak the threadtitle. Anybody think we need one, or is this a classic?

And the Camilla scenes were Emmy worthy.

I loved the Camilla story arc, definitely one of the best thing of the whole season. The entire thing was beautifully executed and definitely worthy of praise. I'm still trying to figure out what the heck does the circumstances surrounding Quinn have any relevance to what's going on right now. He's quite a mysterious one, but for my shallow needs, I hope they keep him around pass this season. Prado is just so dead. He's basically a male version of the British girl, he "understands" Dexter, but in his case he actually knows what he does and enjoys it. I wouldn't be surprised if both Prado brothers are dead by season end.

If anyone has ideas for "now with dancing specimen slides" or the like, PM me rather than post. This raises an interesting point however. Are the seasons tied to the books? For example, was season one Darkly Dreaming Dexter, season two the next in the series, season three the next, and how many books are there out there as I read that Showtime's already greelighted seasons 4 & 5? The third book by most accounts(mine included) SUCKED. The author of the books has had no involvement in the series past the first season. Hope that helps.
