Why can't they go to Europe/Somewhere else in South America other than Brazil/Cold Climate or East Asia.

I don't understand why every season there are always people saying that they wish the show would go to a cold climate. Why? Besides eliminating pretty much
the whole skin factor (I know that's not why everybody watches this show, but let's be honest, it doesn't hurt), I have no desire to watch a boring
season where the contestants don't do anything because they're too busy huddling together around a fire for warmth. And besides, several contestants
have said that nighttime in a lot of those tropical locations (with no blankets and limited clothing to bundle up in) have been pretty damn cold. I remember
Eliza posting specifically about how awful the nights in Vanuatu were.

yeah really. you wouldn't even be able to differentiate between the conestants because they were all bundled up. not to mention they'd have to be GIVEN
everything except for water. WORST IDEA EVER.

Why the hell not? It would be a novel idea for one season. If it didn't work out that well, so what, go to an island the next time. It's not like
one bad season would kill the show. Plus it would probably draw pretty decent ratings just because it's never been done before and this is always one of
the most suggested ideas.

yeah....NO. once people hear SURVIVOR they know immediately whether they will watch or not--it doesn't have THAT much to do with location--so if it boosted
ratings my guess is it would be almost unrecognizable.

Again I say, the closest they'll ever come to a cold-weather location MIGHT be Canada (ie: Banff or Algonquin park) and even then, they'd film in the
summer (and air it in the fall) when they'd have 25-30 celcius temperatures during the day and the nights don't get too cold.
But an ice and snow glacier season will NEVER happen. |

A friend of mine, who got to know mark burnnet's team working in Tocantins, sayed that the name of the show will be Survivor: Tocantins and not Survivor:
Brazil. She really doesn't know why they choose for using Tocantisn over Brazil... I thought Brazil was much more appealing than Tocantins...

Tocantins.
She said that she have photos, but that she won't show because she has a very big friend in the production. But, I managed to search her friends in her profile and I found one person that is working on the season. He has photos. yeah a cold place would SUCK! i mean, what kind of challenges would they have? snowball fights? go fishing? kill the seal? yeah.... no, they would all have to
be like super clothed and covered all the time, physical challenges wouldn't be possible since all the clothing will definitively slow them down and make
them lose mobility, so no and stfu already about the cold place, it's never gonna happen
