It's rare but it's not the first time, and come on, if freaking Amber could survive being outnumbered 4-1, I would have expected Marcus to do just fine since he had a majority of 3-2. He just didn't read Susie's personality well enough and he didn't reassure her of her place in his alliance. Like she said, he was too vague. He lost for the same reason plenty of Survivors before him lost: he didn't manage his allies properly.

Of course they wouldn't vote for either of them, unless they all three magically end up in the F3, and they are forced to vot for one of them. Crystal said it right--it's outwit/outlast/outplay. She might suck at challenges, but politically, she got game.

I was laughing and so happy to see him go because I was sick of hearing douches say this season sucks because it's too predictable and mark my words marcus is gonna win.....take that...this season just started to rock and it can be anybody's game.

She knew for sure they wanted her gone then. I liked Marcus ok, but I have to appreciate Crystal's great play tonight. I thought Marcus would win for sure. He should have played it safe and voted off Susie and lived to play another day.

All he had to do was tell Crystal and Ken that Susie was going (and lie to Susie about voting Crystal) and everything would've been okay. He falsely believed that people would lie down and let him steamroll over them. You can't tell somebody to get rid of their closest ally and not expect them to fight back.

Sure he made the whole onion alliance crap.. he just sold them all out to Crystal. First he pushed for Dan to be voted out because he wanted to be the alpha male, he never once thought that without having Dan/Ace that he would then be the biggest physical threat. Two.. if he wouldn't of been a recruit and knew anything about Survivor history he could of done like Spunkee said, "Vote Susie out to Kenny and Crystal" She clearly had the advantage, yet his arrogance in believing he would make it out by "convincing" Susie she would go to F3 was idiotic. He didn't trust her for like three episodes now. Do you think Dan would of wavered? I doubt it. He is an idiot and the only reason he lasted so long was because his tribe dominated and he had some confessionals because he was clever and came up with the onion alliance saying.
