I hate cold and snow. I too live where everything shuts down if we happen to get any snow. luckily, it's rare.
I had a LOST dream last night. things were very weird in the dream. I was on the island, but it was now basically only the Others left. However, Jack was there(though he never said anything, just scowled). There were three homes that floated in the air several stories above the island. I was informed that they belonged to Ben, Juliet, and somone else(I can't remember whom) because they were the leaders of the Others. The most memorable thing about the dream was that Ben and I had sex. :D |

Cindi - I smell a ROAD TRIP!! I would love to! Unfortunately, with my paltry sum I get from disability, I can't do anything until after christmas. Also, I got a letter in the mail last week saying that since I've never been on welfare, I have to pay an anuual fee for gettin child support. Does that make any fucking sense? |

So.. you have to get on da welfare to keep from paying a child support fee? Can you get welfare if you're getting disability and child support?? I've never heard of a child support fee. All I know is it's considered added income when filing taxes, but a fee.. who's the fee go to? Maybe Aslans and I will get lucky and win the lottery that we never play so we can help get you down here. We're only about 45 mins apart so you get two of your favorite Lost Junkies in one trip! |

Cindi, maybe that fee you have to pay has to do with the stupid Social Security rule about not being able to have income over a certain amount. It's
stupid because you've worked all your life for Social Security disability & should be able to collect it no matter what your other income is.

I dunno Fluffy, the letter didn't say anything about SS. Lord knows that $30 a week I only get part of the time is a huge suppplement to my income, lol.
Apparently, I should just go on welfare, because then I would get free groceries too (yay food stamps) and would most likely have more money than I do now.
Ooo, probably free healthcare on wefare too, right? Silly me.

whenever the government aka friend of the court is involved, there's always a fee. always wondered where all them fees go though. think here in the greater
detroit area, they all went to the illustrious mayor and all his concubines and relatives - now he's better known as wayne county prisoner 006900690069 or
sumpin like that. the fees are usually stated as part of a judgment and generally both sides have to pay. but ya shoulda been aware of it from the beginning -
not that anybody ever explains this stuff to you.

Nah, the fee is a new thing. I've been getting child support for nine years, and have never paid a fee before. I would be more than happy to give up the child support if I could have him just sign off all parental rights (he hasn't seen her since she was about a year and a half old), but they told me we couldn't do that in case I........went on welfare!!!! Because then they'd make him pay for her healthcare or something. Good luck with that, last time we had to go to court the fuckers couldn't even find him, lol.
Maybe I should buy one of those $30 scratch off lotto tickets. I could get $1,000,000 a year for life!!! |

I wanted to stop in an say hi. I've been a lurker at Sucks for years and years... I am always impressed by the folks here in the Lost forum and in MESS
Hall. I think the reason I haven't posted before is that y'all are smarter and/or more observant than I am.
Hubby and I watched Lost from the very beginning - we are suckers for anything that has an actor from LOTR in it. Now that my oldest daughter is mature enough to watch, she is addicted too. We've been re-watching on Sci-Fi and LOVE Monday nights. :) Remember at the end of last season when the lamenting began... February seemed so far away. Someone mentioned that a baby could be conceived and born before the new season. I'll be having that baby a few weeks into the season! LOL Anyway, hi! |
