Could someone please explain what Marcus meant by what he said?
And the fact that he voted for Suzie despite Dan ending up leaving? Was there strategy behind that? (deflecting the idol in case Dan had it?) |

Hmmm...no real surprise that Ace got the boot, he was an arrogant ass who over played his hand and took his main Alliance mate for granted (Sugar). Not that
surprised to see Dan go either but with Corinne going off on the Susie situation, that did seem a bit off that they held to the original course, which was to
rid themselves of Dan.
Next week looks interesting, will Randy hold on or will he manage to alienate everyone? |

It's a mere formality for Marcus at this point. It's like biding time til election day.
Possibly the most obvious outcome since Earl. Even more obvious than Todd and Yul and that's saying a lot actually. He has absolutely no competition whatsoever unless you somehow consider Randy and Matty competition for Marcus' win. That's really pushing it though. |

With everyhting going on - I think the most significant thing that occurred last night was Kenny convincing Sugar to get the HII back from Ace. Is this the "gameplay" that JP alludes to that we can see from Kenny? Kenny is supposed to be the fourth with Matty/Ace/Sugar. I believe that Kenny is looking ahead and would want to see Ace gone before the merge. Kenny and Matty are both shown as continuing strategy talks with Crystal and personally, I don't think her crying or venting is enought for the two of them to put all their eggs in the Sugar / Ace basket. I think Kenny can and will make a compelling argument to get Ace out. The players all know the merge is coming and after being told that it is a double elimination, strategy will change from trying to stay the strongest team to trying to get rid of potentially strong players before the merge. Ace is the biggest threat on Fang and I see Kenny convincing both Crystal and Matty to blind-side him. As to Koto, knowing a merge is imminent, get the glutton out. Dan. This is probably the best I have ever done at speculating. LOL |

I'm a little annoyed that Randy has usurped Bob's position as 4th in the onion alliance, with no explanation given as to why Bob lost his #4 spot. We
don't even know why Randy doesn't like him.

I immediately assumed that the 4-3 vote was a way of flushing out the idol just in case Dan had it, and I see that others have thought the same thing.
Susie thought they were all voting Dan and was left out of the loop. When she saw the 3 votes against her, she probably realized what had happened, except that I think she's a very dumb player. But in any case she's out whether she knows it or not. But we don't know whether Bob is in or not. My guess is that he is. Here's why: If it turned out that Bob was told they were all voting for Dan, when he sees that Susie gets 3 votes he will know that he has been played, and will turn on the onion after the merge. Then the onion is forced to enlist the outsider from the other tribe after the merge (Matty?) to keep a majority. It makes sense for the onion to keep both Randy and Bob on board. No need to alienate either as long as Susie is still around to be voted out. |

I don't know how they all sidled up to Mr.Evil(Randy) over Mr. Good Guy/Hero Bob...
Of course, the Classic Survivor Rule - Revealed Alliances Don't Work Long Term...will appply here... And Bob's being focused on so strongly to the exclusion of everyone else(who also were in *+#@*, BTW, from what I could see) means Bob's going to play an important role in the end game... I can't believe the sharp Onions are buying what Randy is selling...though he is the perfect F2 goat, if that's what they're thinking.... Or they're just snowing him...as he is snowing them...But he likes them and he hates the Fongs...Who did he particularly dislike? I think it was Ken and certainly Crystal... Corrine "I want to stab her in the face!"lolol...They brought Jerry Manthey back and nobody told me???? Next week's clue about Everything going to one survivor's head...Suddenly doesn't imply a long term story for Randy...He now has to be nice to all the Old Fongs...And he dissed Sugar...Or is that Colleen with blonde hair?

Hi, ProfMoriarty, and welcome back! Long time no see, buddy. You've been here a long time, since the turbulent days of 2001, and the infamous bannings.
After this last episode ~ Color me surprised! Dan and Ace voted out. 
Crystal is alive. Not for long, though. For an Olympic gold medal winner, she sure sucks at Challenges. Even from the very beginning, when she needed help in a race, climbing uphill, she was not so good. And with the way she's edited, her attitude is bad, and quite angry at most others. To my surprise, there was no merge on this last episode. I'm guessing now that the merge will be next Thursday. A new Tribe name is forthcoming, with no Reward Challenge, because they'll be offered food and drinks when they merge into one camp. [Kota's] After that, as we and the castaways all know, the strategy changes considerably. They will compete against each other for Immunity, and begin thinking of voting out the strong ones. And such is the way of Survivor. |
