So twisty = Barack Obama? Interesting. I hope those skinheads aren't making you lose too much sleep.

Most boring ws ever.
Did anyone ever really think the Rays had a chance after game 1? |

^ Good to see you taking the bait. I just quoted something you posted in the baseball thread (substituting "Rays" for "Rockies") last year
when the Red Sox were wearing the crown.

I was just curious to get some idea of what the reception line will be like assuming the Phillies win tonight, so I referred to last year's thread.
I've never seen such a procession of bitterness from rival fan bases. Whining about how boring the series was seemed to be the most popular means of
passive aggressively raining on our parade (as if it was our fault that the Rockies sucked). Starrider was the only one who bit the bullet and congratulated
the Red Sox, even if it was in a grudging, backhanded way. So it makes me want to take the high road and set an example for last year's sore losers, even
if it's more than you've earned. Admittedly, I picked the wrong year to troll this thread, but somebody has to be sporting and gracious for once.

Name the last World Series that wasn't boring. The Sox made last year's doubly boring because they'd already won one and everyone's
sick of them.

2002? i remember it went 7 and the rally monkeys helped them win the last two

'02 was great, and of course '01 was the last one that could be considered classic. '03 had its moments too (Marlins shocking the Yankees). Nothing
since then.

Assuming Rollins isn't completely inept, that was the most I've ever seen a ball affected by weather.
I was rooting for Kazmir to get out of the 4th since he had Hamels hurt his finger and then sat on base in the rain for ten minutes. Apparently it didn't amount to much. |

yeah lol my sisters watching on an online feed and cursed when rollins dropped it, i was like calm down the innings over, she couldnt believe that.
and calling that an error on rollins means that an umpire is the official scorer ps i dont think utley hit the guy |

Beautiful play by Utley! Best second baseman in baseball. Now if he'd only start hitting like he can.
I'm not at all sure about this game. |

I'd just like to say that I personally didn't think the 2005 Series was boring at all. Of course, I'm probably the only one but I'm cool with
that.

This sucks. I'm tired as hell, I have to work in the morning and I'm sure I'll most likely fall asleep whilst trying to catch the end of this game.
Grrrrrrrrr!

If the Phillies beat the Rays it'll be the ickiest championship in many a year. At this point I'd actually rather see the Yankees in it. They at least
overcame some obstacles this season. Philadelphia certainly has earned it, but they're so boring, so cocky, and their fans have easily
assumed the role of most obnoxious in baseball.
