I'm not yet thoroughly convinced that all the pairs do the same thing. Like that long race in Cook Islands where they had to untie Parvati and Candace from the mast, swim, carry, and finally build a fire.
There's got to be some reason for the ropes to be shaped like a spider web, even though the course seems to go straight across them. (Could there actually be three lanes, one further to the outside? Your best crawling pair goes under the most web?)

If there are puzzle pieces buried there this could be the IC. Jeff is there so something imprtant is going to happen.There doesn't seem to be an immunity idol anywhere near Probst. Or any sort of mat or finish line for that matter. I think they're starting here, but are going to come out of the woods somewhere else. Probst is going to take a little shortcut around the woods to the end of the challenge. (They do puzzles for reward sometimes, right? The voiceover claims both challenges are "extreme", so there could be yet a more difficult challenge for immunity.)
