I want to see them draw from the hat, I think this is fixed. I want to see Frances doing Krump/Hiphop/Contemporary/country line dancing.. something outside his comfort. VERY glad to hear that Joey and Tamina got some decent choreography. And LIL C is in town. Cool, I hope he does the group dance on Thursday. As long as they don't let him talk.Nico and Arassay both injured? The spoiler says they are injured badly, but they performed. I hope they aren't show stopping injuries.

There was a lot of eye candy/shirtlessness happening. :) The producers have probably realized that more skin = more votes/viewers. I gotta say though ...I didn't expect miles to be so ripped. Mmm... Anyway, now that i got that out of my system all the couples did well this week. Nico/Arassay and Vincent/Lisa were definitely the best of the night. The judges also loved Danny and Allie's quickstep. And yes ...I thought Joey and Tamina did a great job with their hip hop routine. Fey Joey was very believable ...except when he said "baller" during the judging with his limp wrist. ;) The crowd loved Nico ...he seems to be the most popular at this point. Jesse and Izaak were the only contestants to receive negative comments from the judges so i guess those two couples might be in the bottom on Thursday night. Jean Marc is really painful to listen to. He just goes on and on and on. and makes up strange words along the way (he created the word "nervisity"). I wonder if they edit his comments b/c he rambles on and on incoherently. The crowd is dead silent when he speaks b/c i'm sure everyone has no idea what he is talking about. And regarding Nico and Arassay's injuries. Arassay sprained her ankle during practice but she seemed fine. And Arassay accidentally banged Nico's nose and dislocated it in rehearsal. But he simply popped it back into place, lol. And other than that, they sustained some cuts during their performance. That's all.

I really want him gone, and I knew something like this would happen. I have a feeling any good dance from him will keep him around for weeks, like with Ivan. About Francis, notice Danny has also gotten ballroom three weeks in a row. I'm happy they both did, because people seem to love Danny more than Francis, and having both have that unfair adavantage means people can only bitch about one if they bitch about the other (who could be one of their favorites). Course that doesn't seem to have stopped Heliox from only bitching about Francis (SHAME!). It seems that only two dancers got any negative reviews. Seriously, I want to see the other teams handle ballroom/latin. I mean, I know Francis/Natalli and Allie/Danny will kill it. What about Caroline and Jesse? Give Tamina and Joey another chance at redeeming themselves after the tango. And what about Lisa/Vincent? I really think they would ace it, be it a foxtrot or a samba. Urggh, It's just dumb that Caroline/Jesse's styles have been jazz, hiphop, now jazz again. Aand while I am happy Lara and Miles got a krump, I am sad they actually ace it lol. But if it only happened to Danny, people would probably be a lot more forgiving than if it only happened to Francis (Danny is much more well liked). If it had to happen to one of them, I'm "glad" it happened to both, since it means they HAVE to recieve equal backlash, or else you look like you're picking favorites.

Remember Cedric's mambo? You'd have thought it was amazing based on the judges comments. Luckily it was just Mary cleverly getting Cedric's fans to feel secure and not madly vote for him. Remember Twitch and Kherington's krump, and how the judges loved it? Maybe Jean Marc is saying Izaak held his own in the cha-cha so that people will stop voting for him out of pity (since last week he was very harsh on him, like Mary with Cedric's contemporary, and it backfired).

You're right liltimmy, I have a thing against Frances, but this competition is as much about personality as it is about dancing. And I personally find him very arrogant. So for me he has to prove himself in something other than ballroom/latin. When I see him perform outside his comfort zone I might change my mind about his place in the competition. So I will comment about any of the situations I feel warrant. But really it is you that is doing a bit of bitching, right? ;) I have to say that I am trying to temper my bias against Danny because I have personal information about him. So I don't comment much on his performances. Spoiler [+] But agree, they should mix it up for all the dancers, why are there so many repeats for the couples? I guess if it truly is luck of the draw, then there should be no complaining, it's just pure luck that both ballroom men are pulling latin/ballroom. But you have to look at Nico and Arassay have had 3 contemporary (type) routines benefit them right? The first season of SYTYCD had a televised draw from the hat for the partner and for their routine. If I am not mistaken in recent seasons of SYTYCD US production pick the routines for the couples now. Or am I wrong? I think this is actually more fair to prevent repeat routines like those happening now in the Canadian version ANYWAY... The show on Wednesday sounds like it will be good. In this week's episode, special guest judges Kenny Ortega (High School Musical 3) and Paul Becker join the judging panel, while the eight couples attempt to master a different style of dance as they are paired with a new choreographer. Three new Choreographers: Pierre Allaire Montreal native Pierre Allaire is a ballroom legend and teacher. A 12-time undefeated Canadian Professional 10 Dance Champion, and the recipient of the Legend of Dance award, Allaire is also the Canadian, North American and Open British Latin and Standard Champion. Sorry liltimmy, I can't say more, and frankly it is third hand information anyway, and it could be untrue. As for Frank (that would be his name in English, this way I don't have to worry about spelling his name) there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Hey this is reality tv, it is edited to show us only a very small portion of who they are, but in this context I find him arrogant. If I met him in real life he might come across differently. But this is all I have to go on.

I can't see any huge pictures that would cause it. I'm not worried about who gets what styles that much - eventually someone will get something that challenges them. I don't think Francis is a threat for top 4 anyway.
