Since she is an employee of Dunder Mifflin Scranton (on leave) it makes sense that she would try and get a part-time job at corporate in NYC in the vicinity of where she going to school. Just a logical guess on my part.

"$200 and 1 penny" "do you think they can hear us?" and it gets louder that auction, by far the worst auction ever. love it. at michael faking the tickets. wow after having to sit through that I'm surprised no one said anything. If i were there to bid for the tickets, i'd be pretty pissed. Aww poor holly, no one would bid for her. wonder if she'll quit since it seems everyone unanimously hates her? i can see some office related event causing her to resign eventually or something. phyllis <333 this was so her episode to shine. and dwight continually mistreating phyllis is just hysterical. "i know it was an emergency but why did you really have to slash my tires?" I can see roy is still his usual himself. I can't believe he said "don't worry, i won't hit you" to jim. jim sucks, but he's nothing compared to roy. HATE also i think the best thing to do with angela and dwight is to have her really marry andy and stay with andy. just having them in the end just remain friends, wouldn't be as predictable if say they got back together. and ryan has been pretty underutilized. i don't see what the point was to re-introduce him in the premiere, when they could of done it later on in the season. the writers need to come up with something good for him, because his storyline really seems to be dead.

What a disappointment.

I liked that they brought Roy back, even briefly, and Phyllis is one of my favorite characters, so it was good to see a lot of her. (I actually realized tonight I can't stand most of the main characters at this point - Jim, Pam and Dwight.) Michael raising the auction prices when no one was bidding, reminded me of the hilarious scene on the original Kath & Kim where Kath decides to auction off her own house... both terrible and missing the point completely. I'm not a big fan of how they keep throwing Michael into these relationships, and it seems like they could have kept Holly interesting without having her hook up with Michael, but oh well. I LOL at Darrell saying how 3 of Michael's favorite Springsteen tunes were Huey Lewis & the News (and another Tracy Chapman and "Short People" ) and of course at Stanley reacting to the human auction. "Pamela/Ricola" was cute too, as was Andy with his "D-Money, J-Money, T-Money." I guess it's better Andy's role is limited because they would probably ruin his character with too much exposure. All in all, I thought it was a solid episode, much more so than the first few this season.

I am getting tired of Dwight, they should really cut back on his character a lot. He's become quite the vandal - the baby carriage last week and the tires this week. There are so many great characters that are under utilized. Pam in NY doesn't interest me at all.
