Dum dee dum... okay, here they are.

The first two are of Senator Bob Casey, Jr. He trounced Rick Santorum in 2006. Fun fact: Senator Casey, Jr. and I have the same birthday.

The next three pics are of Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell.

(Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter is the guy standing at the podium)

Next four pics are of Obama (surprise!)

And now for the most random pic of the bunch. After I had left the event and was on one of the streets that runs parallel to the event site, I saw Chris Matthews, host of MSNBC's "Hardball, aimlessly walking down the street. I'm not sure why he was doing this, but I got a chance to take a pic of him. He looked rather different in person.

That's all I've got. I'm so glad I decided to go.

you know, rendell has pleasantly surprised me. he was so close to the clintons that i didn't think he'd transition to obama, but i've seen him out front for obama a lot. good for him.

i was at a talk by dan savage yesterday and he's pretty much all convinced that some nutjob will take a shot, and mccain/palin are egging them on in their rallies.

McCain is no one to cast doubt on anyone ELSE's "associations." His own stinks bad enough.

As I posted in detail upthread, in 2006, McCain's campaign manager (Rick Davis) formally hand-carried McPOW to meet a client of said campaign manager's lobbying firm, in Europe.

The client was Oleg Deripaska, the 9th richest man in the world, according to Forbes Magazine (2008).

Deripaska "has been palling around" with Vladimir Putin for years, and has survived the "gangster wars" to the point where his entry into the US was prohibited, due to ties to organized crime.

Davis' firm also supported a pro-Putin presidential candidate in the Ukraine about the same time.

However, during and after that meeting, of course, absolutely nothing happened. Just ask Rick Davis; he'll tell you.

The media have shown little interest in exploring their "relationship" as McCarthy .. er .. McCain might call it.
