A buddy works at The Weather Network in Oakville. I know a ton of peep there because of him. Much of the broadcast staff are hotties too. Emily Vukovic luv. I
would stalk her butt 24/7.

Even that young-ish guy who was on "Are you afraid of the dark?"

Ross works out West. He, the Maritime broad, and the Northern Ontario dude are not based out of the Oakville HQ. Kelly Noseworthy is a slim hottie. She is a
workout fiend. The Weather Network relies on fresh out of school technicians and on air staff. It makes for an unusually decent dating pool.
Michelle Leslie was/may still be dating one of the meterologists. She left last month and went to CHCH She is a complete bitch and fairly unattractive in person. |

Are we discussing The Weather Network here too?
Love TWN. Anne-Marie Sweeney seething HATE. |

Anne Marie is incredibly sweet in RL and accessible. The sweetest is prolly Natalie Thomas.
My bud worked/works evenings/nights and weekends. Sheryl Plouffe was so hot in those tight skirts and blouses PRIOR to her pregnancy. I was disturbed when she wore such tight clothing while 8 months preggers.

Canadians sure love their weather. First the Canadian Idol thread and now the election thread have turned into discussions of The Weather Network, lol.
Can Ross Hull (that guy who used to be on Student Bodies/Are You Afraid of the Dark) run for PM instead? |

Hmmm... well, he'd need to be the leader of a political party, first of all. Next he'd need to be the leader of one of the big 4/5 parties (Lib, Tory,
NDP, Green, BQ)... and that takes some doing. Then he'd need to get some experience as an MP, first as a backbencher, then possibly as a minor Cabinet
member if he sucks up enough. Then once the leader steps down, he can run for leader and become the PM like that, or the official opposition.
It'd take a while for Ross Hull to become PM, but it's doable. |

Emily Vukovich and her butt could inspire a get out the vote movement... with extra 25% schlong-age.

Jakob Speed wrote:I'm sure she is, but the way she talks bugs me to no end. Natalie Thomas is the sweetest eh? That's interesting, I kinda had her pegged as an uber bitch. I liked it best when Sheryl Plouffe and Kim McDonald worked the desk together. *drools* Screw Ross Hull for PM...I demand Tim Bolen on the next ballot. |

Tim is a slimey guy on air. In person he is funny. But strange.
Chris St Clair is a self important dick Chris Mei and Chris Murphy bore me. Tom Reynolds... old and boooring The most personable guy was definitely Chris Scott. When he moved upstairs and took over the Meteorologists and Lightning project thingie they lost the only on air male with a personality. here is Kelly with Chris Scott http://www.theweathernetw....com/video/weather_news/5 |

If I were single I would have hit on Natalie. I spent about 4 of the last 5 years doing a day or two every month or two at both the old Robert Speck Parkway
and the Bristol Circle HQs learning the editing and sound bays and broadcast video work. I took a couple classes with two people there so they helped me out. I
wasn't even a TWN fan until after doing time there.
I'm still friends with switcher/editors, briefers/meteorologists and producers. Three of the on air talents are still facebook buds, including one former host. oh btw, Emily is a Stewie fanatic. purrrrfect. |

Election predictions anyone? | ||

My prediction: CPC: 147

Conservative minority....I can live with that.

We've been living with it since Jan 2006...

Christ, TWN has a shitload of people named Chris.
Conservative minority seems like a lock I'd say. I say PC ~130 - Lib ~95 - NDP ~50 |

Vicconius |

The Libs/NDP/Greens will split a lot of votes. Libs and NDP won't be that high.

Only problem is that the Tories are most likely going to win, so any kind of gov't coalition, however informal, has to include the Tories. And since
it'll be a cold day in Hell if the left works with the Tories, methinks we're just in for some more Quebec ass-kissing in exchange for votes from the
Bloc.

The only interesting result coming out of the election is the pool we should start on the time that Iggy and Rae knife Stephane in the back and tries to force
a leadership convention.
It is gonna be U-G-L-Y |

I met Leanne Pereira who had a brief stint on TWN. She was hot IRL but quiet. Probably gets perved on by a lot of guys.
I really don't care who wins as long as the Conservatives lose which doesn't look like will be happening. Why people vote Conservative I'll never know but to each his/her own. Free country, yadda yadda all that jazz...... I'd vote NDP if I wasn't so lazy to waddle myself to the booths or actually gave a toss. My prediction of what we'll get: CPC: expanded military costs, smiley weirdo Liberals: robbery, mini-eyes NDP: inferiority complex, hot grandad BQ: baguettes, small dick (I just sense it, don't ask how) Green: weed, British teeth Independent: Kelly Clarkson |
