Even with a storyline that requires a display of strong emotions from most of the cast, Grissom and Sidle's reunion has all the fire of my Aunt
Horrtense's quilting bees.

Grisham is supposed to be going deaf, yet they have him stand in the alley and see if he can hear the shot above the noise of the loud music.Grisam has surgery a few (couple?) of seasons ago and had that little issue fixed. |

I thought this episode was poorly written. I have watched for a long time, and never thought Warrick looked up to Grishom as a father. This seems to be contrived, and Im guessing it is in order to explain what pushes Grishom out of the biz. He can't handle the loss of this alleged adopted son. What I found most improbable was McKeen confessing to his crime. Also improbable was do-good Nick having so much struggle to avoid killing McKeen. Nick's not the kind. Also improbable was the immediate decision to focus on McKeen. It wasnt the other cop, so it has to be McKeen? Also improbable that anyone would authorize such a gross public show of force to round up such a highly-placed person. People want deniability. The helicopter and multi-car spectacle would be hard to explain away. I long for better writing! |

^^^ that's all logical thinking - there wasn't much logic in last night's show - i too found it too 'wrapped up' into a neat package by the
end of the hour and remember why I don't miss Sara, and never got her paired with Gris anyway. Warrick and Grissom always butted heads, there were never
any 'dude' moments with them - Rick was close with Nick and Cat.

I could buy that Warrick had a deep respect for Grissom, but yeah, the "adoptive father figure" was too contrived. Guess I also expected to see more
grief from Catherine (now that her Mandingo lover is dead and all).

This story line should've been a two-parter. They made a big mistake condensing it all into a one-hour episode.
Sara looked better this episode than she's looked .... ever. A little softer, a little more feminine. Like everyone else though, there still isn't a chemistry between her and Grissom. I can understand the struggle Nick had to not kill McKeen. After all, McKeen had just killed his best friend and was gloating about it. |

Nick has always been a very emotional character - that scene was true to his character.
I agree, the show should've been at least a 2 parter, if not a multi episode before actually capturing McKeen. |

I thought the entire scene where Sara shows up and is hugging Grissom and then the rest of the team was REALLY awkward.
The entire episode felt rushed. Like they didn't wanna pay Gary for a 2-parter or have anything lingering on later. |

CSI seems to have a problem winding up a continuing storyline. Example: the miniature box killer. The episodes leading up to the conclusion were great, but
the end of that arc was just lame. Same thing here with the whokilledWarrick line. Pfft.

They need to bring on Tarrantino to do some more episodes - Nick being buried alive was probably the best CSI I'd ever seen. Of course any story that
involves Nicky is a good one {{{swoon}}} and yes I know he's gay!

I'm not watching until Grissom & Sara are gone. I can't stand Sara's character, I can't stand their romance - it's physically
disgusting. HD is not Marg Helgenberger's friend. Loved Warrick. Can't wait for Fishburne. Where did the Calleigh, police-woman impersonator go? Why
couldn't Grissom go off with Lady whats-her-name, she was a better match for him. Oh, wait - did she die? If not, she should come back and battle Sara (I
might watch that....)
