I love how they decided to include it in this special category of only 10 dramas in tv history despite never giving it a single major nomination ever.
ETA: Nevermind, I didn't know that even the top 10 were based solely on public votes. Right? |

It's got some major competition. But if you look at the comedy offerings- that episode of M*A*S*H really ought to be in the drama category. I can't
watch "Abbysinia Henry" without crying- even today when I catch it in reruns & KNOW what's going to happen. That is not a comedy moment.

I really hope Buffy makes it. Despite being up against huge competition, that's really one of the most defining moments for females on television and is
tear inducing every single time I watch it.

Wow The one time they have to redeem themselves for snubbing Buffy.. they snub it again. They don't even show the clips that we have all been waiting for
and voting for the past few weeks. Fuck them. Fucking PLOY to get us to watch the show.

The website shows Buffy won for Dramatic moment and Friends won for Comedy. How interesting. They have snubbed Buffy for 7 seasons and the one time it actually
wins something, they don't air it. Hmm. Fuck you Emmys.

It was nominated for writing. Which is kinda all sides of awesome since the vast majority of the episode had no talking.

My boyfriend & I just finished our Buffy marathon this past weekend. He watched it when it originally aired and had all of the DVDs, I had only seen a few
minutes of like one episode. We went through seasons 1-5 in about 3 weeks but once school started it took us a month and a half to go through seasons 6 and 7,
but I'm happy that I can finally read through this thread! It's been killing me. Since I started going through this thread I've had to re-watch all
the Dark Willow episodes and now I'm about to watch "The Gift' and "Hush". I can't wait to start Angel sometime soon. Anyone know
the best (aka cheapest) place to buy the seasons?

I just bought Season 7 a week ago to complete the series. I would've saved much money by buying the Amazon won though. Pfft.
