I wouldn'tmind a celebrity version, but I would hate the emphasis MB would place on them being "celebrities". The concept of fame has no meaning anymore, and it shouldn't. I do think ratings can go up if we have an amazing season.

I agree with TheEasyOne, a celebrity edition would kill the serie and I think MB probably sees that

I definitely think a celeb version would boost ratings if they didn't settle for trashy ones. Or better yet, take stunt cast one or two big celebrities, and that's ratings right there. IMO, that's better than a full on celeb version, which would have a shitty group. Beatles mentioned Ray Romano wanted to do survivor... cast him.

"Survivor: Gabon" put CBS on top at 8 p.m. with a 7.8/13. "Ugly Betty," 5.8/9, snagged second for ABC. "My Name Is Earl," 4.4/7, and the premiere of "Kath & Kim," 4.7/7, were third for NBC. Game 1 of the National League Championship series snagged fourth for FOX, ahead of "Smallville," 2.6/4, on The CW.

Horray for steadiness.

I think so to. I'll admit that I didn't think the HD thing was gonna make that much of a difference, but after seeing these first few episodes I know I was wrong. Some of those nature/wildlife shots look absolutely beautiful in the high definition.

I'm sure it drew in a fair share of new viewers and it really is cool to me (not to sound nerdy) to see the little things like the rice in detail. Makes it feel more real or something.

Is this the first since Borneo that the ratings went up twice since the premiere? or even on any regular episodes?
CBS made a smart choice airing two episodes in a row. In PI the ratings drooped from the premiere because Morgan sucked more then Maraamu and no one wanted to watch a pagonging season. It only recovered because of the outcast twist and fairplay.
