I personally thought the fight was called too soon. Kimbo was still alert (he can take some brutal shots to the head), and the cut above his eye didn't
look too serious, but the ref may have seen something we couldn't. The rematch should be interesting.

I don't know what to think about this from the Elite XC perspective. They wanted a name to come in and "fight" (i.e. LOSE to) their golden boy,
Kimbo. Shamrock is unable to fight (i.e.- has second thoughts about taking dive to Kimbo) and Petruzelli comes in and kicks the fuck out of Kimbo in 14
seconds.
They better come to an agreement with Ortiz QUICKLY and get him signed to fight at their next event if they have any hope of staying afloat. |

I agree, Elite XC does seem pretty fake. I turned off the fight in disgust after it was over and didn't watch any of the replays. What exactly happened
that Kimbo fell to the ground? Did he take a kick or a punch or did he just slip? In the clip above, the camera shot changes just as he is going down so I
still can't tell what happened. I agree that the fight was called a bit too early.
