Okay Proof and E and managerr et al...I've figured out why I don't find Gale Harold attractive (married straight female, BTW, I know, the Ralphie thing
throws everyone)...he looks like the love child of Michael Imperioli and Jason Bateman. And growing up on The Hogan Family, I never liked Jason Bateman.
There, I said it, again. *ducks*

Edie's husband seemed really random to me. Obviously I think the Susan/Mike storyline makes sense or a storyline they can develop centering around Gale
Harold's character, but McClusky? I don't know. I guess the scene where McClusky approached Edie at the party could give some sort of indication.
And Lynette has the hottest family. The twins were really good looking and I still think Tom is the hottest guy on the show. |

Edie's husband is Paul Young, he has plastic surgery, has anger issues and was in prison? Who else wants just one person on Wisteria Lane dead? Think about it! |

I'd roll my eyes at that, but then I remembered "Romanian Orphanage" so anything is possible.

It's probably something that happened in the 5 years that we don't even know about yet.

croakrqueen wrote:Absolutely not, we have to know who and why he wanted to come back. There would be no point in bringing in a storyline we haven't witnessed yet. If this goes back to someone from season 1, this goes back to 4 years ago which would make this season 9 years later.......a long time. |

If you look at past seasons, with the Applewhite's, Orson and Katherine, we didn't know the people involved in the mystery of the season until the
season started.
This year is supposed to be a lot of flashbacks, so we could get information that way, and have it be about something that happened during the 5 year gap.

They ruined this show for me with the fast forward. I thought the first episode was boring. If they were going forward at least make Carlos get his sight
back. Whoever thought it was a good idea to make Gabby plain and give her a fat daughter should be fired. I'm done with this show.

I didn't know how I would like the fast forward, but I like it! There isn't so much different that you're lost, but enough of a change to keep you
on your toes!

How many fast forwards is it now?

Yes, what happened to Katherine's husband (not the psycho, but the gyno) who came in to save the day. They were separated at the time, but after saving
your life, doesn't he get some credit?

I don't mind Mike & Susan as much as everyone else does, and I think they'll definitely tie into the "mystery" with Edie's husband. I
think Bree has the worst storyline out of all of them with the flashforward. She was funny in her scenes, but the storyline sucks. And I can't believe no
one mentioned "Let me pull out the Solis family photo. It's like a bunch of sealions posed on a rock."

bradwalk wrote: Gabby has always been vain. She's a former runway model. It makes sense to make her children be chunky and have weight issues given all the time she's spent in her life working on her body and believing her looks are the most important thing. This is what's going to make the character of Gabrielle have more depth at the end of the season, being able to look at things differently, so whoever thought it was a "good idea" was actually right. |

The Gabby plot was the best part -mostly due to the casting of her child as her foil. Anything to break Eva out of her schtick of clearing her throat,
stroking her hair and doing her best Jennifer Aniston as Rachel routine.

This whole season is probably going to end up being a dream and next season, they'll all be back to 2009.

^ I would kill myself if that were true. But just think that twist would be so insane.

I found Gabby's storyline the most humorous. Juanita may have Carlos' genes but she sure has Gabby's spirit. The look on her face just before
getting on the bus, classic lol.
This is total speculation as I don't do spoilers but right now I could see the possibility of Edie's husband being a long lost son of McClusky who got a raw deal? |
