Survivor has a lot of Australians on its crew, so maybe that's where they got that from. Yeah, and also, he doesn't seem to be very informed.

The first river season since Outback. It's a pretty fast moving river, popular with rafters. That's probably why he drowned. |

Aren't most of the Dream Teamers Australian too? What if he was swept away while testing out a challenge?

CSCin3D, I think you're right. The text said:
"O Rio Novo, onde o produtor se afogou, é conhecido por ser usado na prática de rafting, cheio de pedras e de correnteza forte. O banho no local é considerado perigoso." Translating (sorry for my bad English, though): Novo River, where the producer drowned, is known for being used in rafting practice, full of rocks and with a strong "correnteza" (I don't know the exact word in English. Flow? O.o). Bathing in the place is considered dangerous. |

"Current" (basically means flow).
That's so sad. |

An article from September 17 talking about Survivor coming to town:
http://cinematoca.zip.net/ I can read Portuguese mostly, but I don't feel like translating the entire thing. So the pre-crew had already been arriving by the 17th. Then this guy is basically just asking about the environmental and economic impact of the show. |

lol - I was saying just this morning that I needed to brush up on my portuguese...
(No disrespect - I'm going to believe that Desiree had a really cool job that he enjoyed.) |

Too bad about that poor guy and his family, but that looks like a pretty great location.

We're back to Brazil, Babeeeeeee! \o/
It's so cool to see Survivor in the country you live in. Amazon was great and my bet is that Survivor: Jalapão or just Survivor: Brazil is gonna be as great as Amazon. The place is really beautiful. I've never heard of it, but by the pictures posted before, it would be amazing to watch it in HD. Survivor: Gabon just started but I really want to see Survivor: Brazil rightaway. |

Jalapão (I love that "ão" sound <3) reminds me of a greener version of the American Southwest. It's very flat, with mesa-like formations
dotting the landscape. There's also a huge sand dune I expect to be used for a lot of challenges. Camps will probably be along the river, like in
Outback, and there's also a lot of waterfalls like in Outback.

Once we learn what to do with the "n" in Gabon, we'll get right on that ão.

They'd never call it Survivor: Jalapão, considering most people would pronounce it wrong as Ja-la-POW. It'll probably be just Survivor: Brazil. |

Yeah. They're never calling it Jalapão.
I don't even know how to explain to you guys how to pronunciate it. But Survivor: Jalapão would be a fun name, at least for the people who can speak portuguese! :p |

pretty <3 Except it'll probably look bland and dirty on tv, like most landlocked locations have. Gabon looks like fields in North Carolina or someshit. I honestly wouldn't even mind all tropical islands at this point. It always looks the best and it was the original concept. |

I actually think Gabon is the prettiest and most distinctive looking out of the jungle/lake seasons so far, whereas Amazon, Guatemala and China were absolutely
awful. This place seems crisper and fresher than the jungle locations, so it will probably show up better.

Since Japan here in Brazil is said/written Japão, they might just go ahead and call it Survivor Jalapan......... but yeah Survivor Brazil would be much better.

The doubts are increasing and speculation is unavoidable, but rather what they are mere speculations. So they will be saved for Buteco nearest table. Here we
see it.
The TV is behind Internet, the instrument of communication more globalized and almost everything that you see here, you see all over the world, each its own way, but bad drinking from the same source. What explains the low quality of much of television produced in the world. I feel pessimistic, bitter, try zapear all channels of TV on a Saturday during the day. The schedule hurts and it looks that there are including the TV also closed. And there is, in cable TV, we see the TV in its raw state. Everything that we copy all right there ... Can Old ... with Luciano Huck ... not Pimp My Ride on MTV Gringa (ta of the national malaise of the Sky). Moreover, the boy-toucan-playboy-businessman-husband-to-angelic-pouting-pro-RB-seema master is to give that blowjob in the American TV ... everything comes from there and he still comes in one of the authors discuss the deal with the Gugu ... do me the favor both. But back to American parent (and this is where you get this text wrapped). They have a program there duly copied here in Brazil called Survivor (the Globe "In the Limit"). And the program runs the world putting unwary Americans in situations in extreme environments inóspitos theory. Here is that after the "survivors" in Africa, Australia, and at the end of the world, comes the turn of .... Survivor Jalapão. That's it. A team of American television (one of the largest networks, by the way) is currently in pre-production in full Jalapão, which is the inhospitable environment of the time. Hence the questions that open this text: 1 - How such a structure (containers and containers of equipment) enters the state without causing any stir? 2 - What kind of economic compensation Groundskeeper of the population, shaken by such a structure, you will receive? 3 - What is the environmental compensation involved? Or someone thinks that there is no impact? 4 - What is the compensation for the use of scenario (a state park, not to forget)? 5 - What is the return to the class of workers in audiovisual? Someone has been or will be employed? Will set workshops and other moments of interaction with foreign professionals? 6 - Who is he and what is the government agency involved with this production? I promise to publish the answers as soon as informed of them. |

This article doesn't say much about the show. It mostly talks about how the show would impact the nature there and what it'd bring to them.
The translation is not very good, but it's understandable. |
