I LOVE Lafayette and Tara and Jason is pretty funny. I still don't think Bill is hot enough, but he's growing on me.
I had never even heard of the Sookie Stackhouse books, but I just recently discovered the Twilight Series...read all for books in like a week. A tiny bit embarrassed to admit that I totally loved every second of them. Now that I hear the Sookie books were first, I can't help but think there was some major draw on those for Twilight. |

If Sookie doesn't drop her moral code and just screw Eric, I am going to be REALLY disgusted and frustrated with her. Sookie needs to just let her
inner slut out and also hop in the sack with Alcide the Were, too. This is her window to do some "shopping around" while she is on a
"break" from Bill. I'm sure they are inevitably getting back together, so Sookie needs to see what else is out there before she settles. I
have to live vicarously through Sookie, since I don't know any Vampires to have Vampire Sex with and I want Eric, so Sookie better get on that

the sam/tara thing was weird, as that isn't how tara is portrayed in the books.
i wonder if they're going to bring in the alcide character as well. he's my second favorite. |

I hope they get enough seasons for Alcide and Quinn. (not really a spoiler since noone who hasn't read the books would have a clue who we're talking about)
And yeah, the Sookie books were about 4 years before Twilight. I doubt they were the inspiration on any level since the Twilight books are geared for tweens. |

Approx 2/3 of the way through book 4 . . . FINALLY!!! (I'm sure that moron SS has an appropriate emote to convey what I feel, but I don't have any of
that. So, insert emoticon of 2 smiley faces in a bed, the female smoking a cig. and including a surgeon general's warning that smoking is hazardous to
one's health.)
I have to slow down on reading these books, because I am falling behind on my shows and my DVR is filling up. I just can't put them down, though. |

Will there have been three eps so far.
I am falling more and more in love with this show as I watch each ep. Loved Sam barking. Tara is a very interesting character. Sookie's brother is a douche. Is he like this in the books? Someone hates him enough to keep killing every woman he sleeps with. Bill is the best vamp evah! Oh and I just had a gut feeling that the dog meant something seeing it in the first two eps. I hate that I have no will power when it comes to those damn spoiler tags. |

Sorry about that, Dug & Soak. If it's any consolation, I was really bummed when I read about it the first time in the last couple of weeks. I am
holding out hope that the show may not follow the books to the letter and maybe one or both will NOT be killed off?

If I had to pick one to save, it would definitely have to be Lafayette. I really like gran, but I think she has to eventually be killed to continue with
Sookie's progression. Based on the previews, specifically of Jason slapping Sookie, I am thinking Gran is going next per the book.

But I don't know if they are trying to be serious or a satire? Seriously though, the blonde brother needs to die. He's annoying. And Rogue needs to do some more fighting, u know that bitch got something in her wit the way she threw that chain and also threw that guy up into the tree. AND WTF is up with that dog? And I'm annoyed by the black girl's attitude, gah please stop wit the typical sassy black lady typecast. |
