Ando and Hiro = gold; actually like Daphne, tho she's so perky it's annoying. Loved when Hiro called her "nemesis."

Major gripe about Hiro seeing the future -- and nearly exactly the same one he saw in the first season. Second gripe is that it's lazy writing to have Peter and Hiro able to teleport to whenever they want to immediately and with precision.

FatCop lost in the desert, found by a man who paints the future....uh, speaking of something that's been done before...(and that's definitely Africa, not the Hollywood Hills, massive eye roll)

Nikki -- my guess is that she has some kind of rebooting power -- new personality, new power. She's now infinitely more interesting than she was in the first two seasons, and the fact that Micah is nowhere to be seen = great.

Nathan -- still as annoying as ever.

Mohinder and Maya -- maybe it's the actress, but she really doesn't work as a character; him with powers is bette -- him fucking up with the serum (seriously? You tested it on yourself? At the DOCKS?) at least gives him something to do besides be beat up by Sylar.

Sylar -- the third brother thing doesn't bug me -- those of you who read comics are used to this kind of thing -- but he's been completely neutered; when he showed up to get Claire's powers, it hardly even seemed menacing anymore. And why were all the brains scooped out if he didn't eat them?

Mama Patrelli -- awesome as always, but a bit shrill, like she's coming unhinged.

New villains -- suitably menacing, but magnetism and fear into strength? Eh. We'll see.

All in all, light years past season two, and the pace was great. I think if they get a handle on Peter's powers (and stop relying on them so much) and leave the future alone, the show might be back on track.
