Summary of what I was going to say: Julie sucks, Phil's awesome but his on-screen presence is insignificant enough to justify him not getting an Emmy, and why the fuck was Howie nominated for best reality show? |

WOOHOO!! I'm glad that Jeff won. He was by far the best out of all nominated. He is the basis for all reality competition and has gotten much better
since the days of Borneo. I personally don't think that Julie is a very good host. She needs to show some more emotion and stuff, IMO. <333 JEFF!!!

I'm a huge Big Brother fan, but seriously, do any of you people actually think that Julie Chen had a snowball's chance in hell of even being nominated
for that award? Maybe once she makes it through a full season of the show without flubbing her lines or screwing up in some way, then she might be considered,
but even then, probably not. I'd be willing to bet that Big Brother will never in any way, shape, or form be acknowledged on any Emmy broadcast EVER.
Although I must admit, I do feel that Julie got better during this last season. Congrats Jeff! |

I think Dancing With the Stars and American Idol are nominated because its "Reality or Reality-Competition Program" and DWTS and AI are competitions
wherein the winner is supposedly based off reality meaning votes. :|

Congrats Jeff! He is the best.
Heidi: like someone said before, she isn't on the show for like 80% of it, andi believe her part could be cut out of the show. Ryan: A media whore, he just happens to be on the most popular show on tv. Howie: I think this explains itself. its a surprise he is even nominated. Tom: I find him quite boring, though, i barely watch his show. Phil: Says the same stuf over and over and over forever and ever.... and moves the eyebrow. Julie: Sucks. As said before, Jeff is an important reason of survivor's success. He has to be focused on the what is going on the show and be a huge part of it, he does say some phrases over and over, but most of them, if not all, dont get boring, and are memorable and iconic of the show, he has to improvise quite often, and sometimes he has to act on unexpected circunstances, like the quits. Anyway, thats how i see it... |

Jeff Probst absolutely deserves it. His hosting job requires intelligence and a thorough understanding of gameplay.
In the same way Hatch invented the game we know today, Probst invented reality show hosting. He should have received a special Emmy before there was a category. Someone else who deserve the Emmy but wasn't nominated was Phil Keoghan. But, the Amazing Race is considered "high brow" and at this point I think will win in perpetuity as long as it is on the air. |

Why the hell does TAR keep winning Outstanding Reality Program or whatever it's called?? It's shit compared to Survivor. 6 years in a row TAR has
won!!! Who the hell votes for TAR and why hasn't Survivor ever been nominated (at least I don't think it ever has been)??

I was happy Jeff won.
As much as I first thought he was kinda big on himself, he does an amazing job at tribal councils asking questions that he just comes up with. At tape changes, (which happen every 20 minutes) he sits on his stump pondering his next questions. No primping, no preening, just gears turning in his head about where his questioning is going next. And yes, he does have to deal with unexpected things like quits. Trust me, if he doesn't feel it's a necessary thing, he won't hold back on being pissed off. How he dealt with me on that log, (at first pissed) but then after finding out I thought chopping off my finger was a good idea, he became very compassionate and realized that I was done. Yay Jeff, Congratulations on the win!! You definitly deserved it. Now.................go get a haircut. |
