Even the first three weeks, where his alliance was dismantled? I thought he played a good game after they left (although like many seasons, the game depended on the players being idiots), but not when they were in the house
I didn't see the first few weeks of BB2.
Even still, Dan made similar bad moves in the beginning of the game. The WORST thing you can do is make an alliance as soon as you get into the house. No good ever comes of those alliances (well, except Chilltown), and its a guarenteed way to get your ass evicted early.
Although mind you, I can't remember if Brian approached Dan or Dan approached Brian. Dan may not have had a choice in the matter, if he was approached by Brian first

Doesn't really answer who is the best player though does it? Just who is more popular.
I don't think this question can truly be answered until Allstars 2 and how Dan does if he is in it, which you would think he would be. Right now they both have pros and cons in their favour. -Will won in a season without PoV. Which is both a positive and a negative. For one he never had a chance to save himself from the block, every time he was nominated he had to use his strategy and manipulation skills to save his own ass. But also without PoV it took away the unpredictability and the chance of backdooring. -Dan played in a season with PoV and made it to the final two and won by an unanimous vote, the only housemate to ever win in such a way. -Will won a jury vote were the jury got to actually watch the entire season including Diary Room entries and still took the majority. -Will played in two seasons and couldn't get his alliance to the final two. Dan played in only one season and got the Renegades to the final two. -Will played the majority of Season 2 without an 'official' alliance and still managed to make it to the end. -Dan won competitions when he needed too. Will never won a competition, even when he tried...and yes he did try sometimes. -But also Will never had to win a competition and still made it to the final two and won, so that can also go in his favour. -Will was the only winner in Allstars, came in with a huge target on his back and still made it to the final four, in a season that was very different to the one he won in Season 2. So right now I still think Will has the edge for the simple fact he made it so far in Allstars. So if Dan can make it further or as far when he plays Allstars then I think we can officially hand that crown over to Dan. |

Will was a better manipulator, but I would pick Dan only because Dan won a season where there was Veto (most likely, in order to make F2, Will would have had to win HoH against Hardy/Nicole), and Dan won 7-0. |

I feel like the game Danielle played in AS is the game she should have played in S3 and the game she played in S3 should have been played in AS. I'll never understand what the hell she was thinking talking so much shit in the DR knowing they'd see it. |
