The worst part of the episode was Silver and Naomi making up. That was it?

They lost me after the first episode, but I was EXTREMELY pissed to hear today that Dylan is going to be Kelly's babydaddy. Brenda + Dylan forever!

The writers definitely need to get it together. I feel like the show has his a plateau and it's only the 3rd or to some 4th episode. That's a big
problem. I will gladly take over the top, campy, ridiculous plot lines and stunts over so mild and so undramatic that it's absolutely boring anyday.
I really don't care how outlandish or inrealistic the storyline is..as long as it's entertaining that is all that matters. It's freaking WBH...go outlandish. |

I think they are following the formula of the original, early 90210 episodes. In the first two seasons, most stories wrapped up within an episode with random
guest stars who were the problem of the week (black family moves to Beverly Hills, Brandon's girlfriend is in the witness protection program, Brandon's
girlfriend has a child). It wasn't until a little later in season 1 and 2 that storylines ran through several episodes (Dylan and Kelly sneak behind
Brenda's back, etc). It also wasn't until later seasons that the show got salacious.
I don't think producers should follow that formula because it doesn't work anymore. Maybe in a few episodes, the show will get its footing. I still like Silver, Dixon, the father, grandma and Navid so I hope so. |

Next week, Annie cries after sex or almost sex waaaaahhhh! So weak. Naomi always looks like she just smelled something stinky. ::geek:: I thought Kelly couldn't carry a pregnancy. Remember when she and Brandon got prego, she subsequently miscarried and was told she wouldn't be able to have children? I guess she found a miracle cure in Dylan. I also thought Brenda+Dylan 4-ever and Kelly+Brandon 4-ever. How pissed is Brandon over this? How lame am I for caring? |

I don't remember Kelly being pregnant, but it wouldn't surprise me as she was burned, raped, shot, diet-pill O.D.'d, addicted to coke, almost
infected by HIV, brain-washed into a cult, sexually harassed by her boss -- you name it, it happened to Kelly.
I HATED Kelly & Brandon together. They were too boring and bland. No chemistry, whatsoever. Kelly & Dylan were the best together. Besides, Kelly & Dylan are SOUL MATES and shared a past life together in the Wild West together. Dylan had to be the baby daddy. Brenda & Dylan were terrible together -- both are too selfish & self-involved to be together. There has to be a Yin to go with the Yan. Which is why Kelly & Brandon sucked together, since they were both goody two-shoes and boring together. I'm behind on this show & haven't watched this week's ep yet. I am really only interested in the old characters (thus Kelly & her storyline, which includes Silver, since Silver is baby Erin all growed up & the alcoholic/cokehead mother). I agree with the posters who think this show needs more drama. I agree. The queen bitch needs to be much bitchier and there needs to be real drama & angst going on rather than all this *we're from Kansas and will make Bev Hills a better place cheesiness.* There needs to be close to a 50/50 mix of old 90210 and new 90210 for this show to draw viewers, IMO. This way old fans will keep watching and new fans will start getting into it. |

There better be some pool/beach scenes A.S.A.P. or I'm leaving.

They had better feed Annie and Silver before they subject us to any beach/pool scenes. They are so skinny it is gross!!!

Pinot Envy, I often agree with you but...Kelly and Dylan together sucked. Kelly was constantly jealous of Brenda, insecure about herself, whining about
Dylan's new sister, cheating on him with John Sears in college and then Brandon. Dylan even admitted that he only chose Kelly because she showed up to his
dad's party and Brenda didn't.
Brenda was definitely drama but Dylan and Brenda had similar interests in literature and art, subtly hinted throughout the years. I hate that Dylan is the father of Kelly's baby because when the show ended, I imagined Dylan dumped Kelly and joined Brenda in London or wherever she was. |

Next week, Annie cries after sex or almost sex waaaaahhhh! So weak.Next week looks like absolute shit and I just hope that storyline does not take over the show. You know she doesn't get raped or anything.. she'll regret it and then cue the afterschool special talks about not giving it up for anyone and cue my fast forward button. I think I will tape this so I can zip on through everything that is just not watchable. |

I really enjoyed this series up until the last episode. Before this last episode, this series wasn't awful.
This last episode was just bad. From the way too long beginning, the pacing in this episode was just off. And the acting didn't improve. The part that really drove home just how bad the episode was that Dixon only did $500 worth of damage to the BMW when he knocked the mirror off. I work with insurance, and have handled claims with Ford Taurus's that have had similar damage that have cost more than $500 to repair. (Truth be told, moving to LA from Nebraska would raise Dixon's insurance rates more than filing a claim would; okay, so both together would have made substantial increases to his auto insurance rates.) Anyways, the episode overall was fairly bad. Add in to the mix that Kelly Taylor is only going to be in 10 episodes (and only one more episode with Brenda), I really don't see myself watching this show much longer. |

Shrinking ratings, shrinking stars.
The cast members were joking about doing an intervention to get Annie & Silver to eat something. Breast implants might gain a pound or two... |

loveski wrote: I always found it funny that K& D were supposed to be soulmates, but Kelly dumped Dylan to go fuck John Sears (even though he was an asshole to her years earlier), Dylan tried to re-hook up with Brenda when she returned from her short stint at the U of Minn, Dylan went to Europe during whatever season and was living with Brenda, and he, oh yeah, MARRIED TONI. Kelly's soulmate was whomever was in front of her at the time. Dylan, Brandon, Dylan, Brandon, Dylan, Brandon. (And when both were in front of her, it was "I choose me"!) As for Brenda/Dylan, I never thought they worked after high school so I don't think those two were soulmates, either. Brenda & Dylan were terrible together -- both are too selfish & self-involved to be togetherKelly was awfully selfish herself, which is why she never worked with anyone, either. My favorite example was when Dylan announced his engagement to Toni. Kelly's reaction: "Didn't you care about MY feelings?" WTF? She'd dumped him (and Brandon) for Cokehead Colin (whom she was still dating) and she's whining that Dylan had the gall to move on.
