It's so wierd, we hardly got any wind from Ike here in Dallas, but my entire family in Dayton & Columbus is still without power. Sucks to be them!

At least we're not Texan.
Sidenote: I was kind of hoping for some looting so I could play with my guns. |

So Ohio is still trying to kill me. You know what's really fun?
Losing your power in the winter. Cleo, KHP -- did you guys lose power, too? |

Nope. We had a few blips last night but no outage. That's what you get for living down in Grovetucky.

Grovetucky made me snicker.
I totally live in Powell, though. I'm surprised your power didn't go out! Lucky duck. I spent the night curled up underneath a bunch of blankets with my daughter, husband, and dog. It was so 18th century. |

I watched the news while I was getting ready for bed and they said 5000 were without power in Delaware County. Lucky you. How long was it out?

I have power. I don't think the weather was all that bad where I am (NKY).

Our power went out for only 30 seconds up here. I was in the middle of reading OT. It was a brief panic situation.

I live in Grovetucky as well and not a single power blip last night. Of course, I've been babysitting servers running on generator power at work all
night.
Columbus needs some serious help dealing with windstorms. |

They call the wind Mariah.
I call her a pain in my ass. |
