Posts: 15976 (09/16/08 8:30 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts Message Connection Block Invite	I think Will is a more interesting personality and an infinitely more entertaining player to watch on the feeds, but I actually admired Dan's gameplay more because it wed manipulation AND being a kickass competitor at the end with him not being afraid to get his hands dirty and believing in his ability to use his manipulation to make jurors forgive him for it (and succeeding). Now that I think about it, it actually reminds me of Boogie's gamestyle in All-Stars which I did respect as much as I found him often repulsive as a person. But if finishing Final 4 in all-stars with your two closest allies right there in the Final 4 with you is "struggling in the Post-BB2 game," I think A LOT of BB players would be happy to have the sort of success Will did there.

They are without question proof that you don't have to be an utter asshole or complete backstabber to win in the game. Dan proved he's a winner tonight, after the fiasco of roulette I didn't think he would pull off the win. This season Dan was the best, in fact he is the best since season two. Tonight is Dan's night and I am happy he won and sad that Renny didn't win AC.

He started with a blank slate, initializing and altering the game we know today. I am very pleased Dan won, but he was in a group of players/actors who had never even heard of Big Brother, much less ever watched it. He also had what, 4 casting calls to get his game on point. He had plenty of time to analyze each player in BB history and took the best qualities while throwing out the worst. He chose to play with the cool group, he engaged the internet watchers, he showed a weak vulnerability early, and stayed low until he had to put winning into motion. The benefit of being America's player and going on a trip with Michelle didn't hurt either. I would say that Dan is the best adapter to the game, but Will is still the best player of the game. Very happy with the winner for sure, but I think Dan would even concede he had more of an upper hand than Will ever did.
