I used to get several 2 am booty calls for some ho-bag named Stacy. They never got the hint when I told them that she no longer had that number, so I changed
strategy. After the guy asked for Stacy, I'd tell him that she was about to have her baby, and then I'd ask who was calling. Funny how they would never
call back again after that.

I usually call them back if it was a girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife and if it is a girl, say I am the new man. If it's a guy, I say he's gone gay
and he's with men now. It's fun.

When I was in college, I had a number that was a pair of digits off from the hospital information line. When people wouldn't believe me that they had the
wrong number and had reached a college student, I'd calmly hit the icon on my computer that connected to the internet (this back in the 14.4 modem dialup
era) and held my ear away from the phone. Somehow that usually got the message through.
