I am closest with David - love that guy! He and I were close while we were there and still are now. We were on the same wavelength for sure. I am also close with Teresa as we both live here in VA. We plan to do a lot of charity work together. I talk to Laura quite a bit as well. Also LOVE Elan. She was like my little sis. I think I was most upset when she was eliminated.

I am completely blown away by the support we've been shown. Yesterday at the Pentagon Memorial we had people literally RUNNING over to us yelling, "Andrew is here? Andrew is here?" It was surreal. And it is just so cool for Andrew. He always was a little ham, yep, you read it right. He LOVES to bask in the attention. That has led to our demise in the show ring many a time, lol. He has actually left me and gone up to the judge and barked or jumped up to be petted!! He has left the ring to go talk to the crowd - yes my "separation anxiety according to ARP and Wendy Diamond" has actually LEFT ME in the ring by myself on several occasions!!

One thing I will share about the Best In Show arena. The dogs hated it in there. There was so much negative energy in there as nothing good every happened there. It was the place where we, and the dogs, had to stand/sit for hours while the judges often downright ripped us new ones, belittled us and made us generally feel bad. Well anyone who knows dogs know that energy travels right down the leash. All the dogs picked up on it. Most of them would immediately go to sleep while in there, a clear cut displacement signal. Others would get antsy. Presley used to whine continuously and was very antsy in the arena. Several would sit facing the green room and repeatedly had to be repositioned. It was awful for them. The green room was the safe haven. I repeatedly suggested that they allow us to take the dogs in there when we weren't being critiqued and just let them play, run around, eat treats, etc, but was shot down. Hmmmm, now I see why they didn't want to make it a good place. And no wonder why Andrew wanted to get the heck out of dodge! He was, after all, the only dog expected to stay in there off leash without his owner. I doubt any of the others would have wanted to either..... especially with Wendy Diamond!

Tillman was awesome, so comical!! He lived for that skateboard and also liked the swing quite a bit, but wasn't interested all that much in too much else. Ron was awesome too. I really liked him and we got along well. We exchanged barbs quite a bit and I'm sorry they never showed any of it. I was the perfect straight man for his dead pan humor. They showed a couple seconds of it when we were in the house and he was telling me how Tillman barfed in the pool. Hilarious! Anyway, let me tell you a story. Remember the very first challenge when we did the disco routine? Well Tillman wasn't keeping up with Ron at all, was lagging behind and totally uninterested. So during one of our practices Ron comes out with all this duct tape on his leg. I look at it closer and see that Ron has duct taped MEAT to his leg. True story. LOL. Unfortunately it didn't really help all that much.

Oh, and side note, Tillman LOVED Andrew.... and I mean "loved." ;-) He always tried to hump him!! And Andrew loved Ron. He went up to Ron often and jumped up so Ron would pick him up. It was cute watching Ron hold him and talk baby talk to "Drew," his nickname for Andrew.

LOL, your guess is as good as mine! They both say they're just friends, so who knows?
