1) I don't want 30 Rock to become another Will & Grace, where writing takes a backseat to "Big! Name! Guest! Stars!"Will and Grace kept top notch writing until the end. The show itself became less about just the four central characters, but the writing never suffered. Season 6 Episode 2 is (in my opinion) the best writing the show ever did. Keep in mind the reason the show was even able to attract the caliber of guest stars that they did was because the stars knew that the writing would be top notch and that they wouldn't be peddling drivel.

I don't know which episode, but in one of the early ones is going to be a Polka party. +10 points for the Weird Al reference  at Best Buy taunting me by advertising 30 Rock season 2 this week even though it's not coming out until October 7. Although really--$28 for 14 half-hour
episodes? As amazing as the season was, I'm sure we'll see it for $20 on Black Friday. Besides, I have a ton of DVDs I need to catch up on anyway so
I'll hold off on it probably, unless some store has a bonus disc.

Not a fan of Tim Conaway's Emmy win. In fact, I think the Academy screwed up the Guest Actor category. David Schwimmer and Dean Winters deserved
nominations over Conaway and Buschemi. Will Arnett should have won. In Guest Actress, Amy Ryan (The Office) should have been nominated and won, but from the
actual line-up, Carrie Fisher and Edie Falco were the best. I can't argue with its win in Casting.
