I have a question, if any of you were lurking or posting regularly over the previous seasons of Idol...was there ever this much 'buzz' during past tours? If so, which season, which Idol? I lurked on here since season 4, but never posted or followed the tour news on here because it seemed like there was a lot of um, hate for Taylor Hicks and also Daughtry...Anyway, I just wondered if this group was more likeable, or if this is unusual?

Random observation about the top right pic in beverly's post: the way he's cupping his hands reminds me of the scene in The Sound of Music when the kids are singing the beginning of So Long, Farewell.
