From Wikipedia: This season, Exile Island has been renamed as simply, 'Exile'. Players sent to Exile will have a choice of receiving a clue to the location of a Hidden Immunity Idol or an "'instant comfort' - a nice thing to sleep on, some food, some fruit," according to Probst.[8] It's bad enough they bring back Exile Island, but now they're making it a reward instead of a penalty. |

Kind of a lame twist, though both could benefit the exiled person. HII clue or added comfort everyone else can't enjoy.
From what Probst had suggested in another article, it sounds like the idiots are gonna choose comfort over the idol more often than not. Morons.

Well shit. The only good thing about Exile Island was watching people who were already having a tough time getting sent there as an extra kick in the cotch

I remember the last Exile twist in Fiji. Yau-Man chose himself to Exile instead of winning reward challenge.

my guess is many will opt for comfort, but the rest of the tribe will assume they have the idol and want to vote them out as a threat

It does actually adds some strategy to the game, since the pepole sent to exile don't have to tell anyone else what they really chose.
So someone can find the idol and tell everyone he asked for a bed. |

I still say that whoever gets sent to Exile should end up being immune from TC. That could really fuck things up. |

Ugh. If anything they shouldve made exile HARDER. Too many of these suposed "castaways" suffer from SOFT-i-tis. Now theyre REWARDING the weaklings!?.
The twist should be whoever picks "comfort" gets an uppercut into a spiked death pit, theyre carcasses raped by surfing hippos.
