I wouldn't let Renny and Keesha out of eyesight either if I were Dan/Memphis!
I totally agree that Dan's little mindfuck game right prior to the veto ceremony - and his veto speech - were utterly retarded. He had pretty much 100% gotten his way back in like flynn with K/R/M. During that speech, Keesha and Renny both had WTF written all over their faces, and both were down right pissed off at him after the ceremony. Add to that, that when he spoke with them afterward, he never fully explained - step by step - the conversations he had leading up to the ceremony, or why he did what he did. Instead, he's allowed Ollie and Michelle to twist and lie the conversations THEY had with Dan prior to the ceremony. Michelle straight out said she'd put Keesha up to him and yet she's told Keesha and Renny that Dan "instructed her" to say Keesha's name. It all just makes it seem (to Renny & Keesha) like Dan's got something nefarious up his sleeve. The last thing he needed to do was give Keesha and Renny a reason to be paranoid. Absolutely fucked his game IMO. I think he brilliantly orchestrated his way out of the HOH deal he made with Ollie, only to needlessly but catastrophically blow his game the fuck up with that little POV ceremony "game". It was just completely stupid of him. |

I think the little 'game' he played really showed his age. It was an exercise in stupidity but I got a kick out of Ollie and Michelle's expressions
as they realized they were royally fucked. It was awesome.

Either way, I won't judge their outside lives by what they do on the show to win.Here's how I see. Everything a houseguest does in the house is a part of their persona. If they lie, it simple means they will lie in similar circumstances outside the house, such as when playing "Risk" among friends and they promise not to invade Africa and then that's exactly what they do. It's the same when these guys talk smack about each other. It evidences that some part of them will talk smack about someone they know when in similar circumstances outside the house. I think it's folly to think that what a houseguest does while on BB has never been done by that person before, or won't be done after the show. Especially with respect to those who are in the house for any length of time. We are seeing, either in whole or in part, their real personalities. Which is not to say if they cheat while in the house, they will cheat on their taxes. But it would not surprise me if they cheat at cards. |
